1. A laundry machine comprising:
a washing tub arranged in a cabinet, to receive laundry;
a height increasing member installed between the washing tub and an installation surface of the cabinet; and
a servicing section provided in the cabinet adjacent to the height increasing member for maintenance of a drainage filter;
wherein the height increasing member includes:
a housing to support the washing tub in the cabinet and including an opening,
a movable body including a storage space, the movable body moving in and out of the opening in the housing, and
a door panel, coupled to a front side of the movable body, to hide the servicing section when the movable body is moved into the opening in the housing and to expose the servicing section when the movable body is moved out from the opening in the housing;

and wherein the height increasing member bears a weight of the washing tub and contents of the washing tub, without bearing a weight of the cabinet.
2. The laundry machine according to claim 1, wherein the servicing section comprises a hole formed to enable the maintenance of a drainage filter.
3. The laundry machine according to claim 2, wherein the drainage filter is separably mounted in a hole of the servicing section.
4. The laundry machine according to claim 1, wherein the servicing section is arranged over an opening which leads to a drainage filter.
5. The laundry machine according to claim 1, wherein the servicing section is arranged at one side of the opening in the housing.
6. The laundry machine according to claim 1, wherein the door panel overlaps a portion of the cabinet arranged at a level higher than the opening in the housing, and wherein an upper portion of the door panel overlaps the servicing section.
7. The laundry machine according to claim 6, wherein the movable body includes a handle to allow a user to move the movable body in and out of the opening in the housing.
8. The laundry machine according to claim 1, further comprising:
at least one support between the washing tub and a surface of the height increasing member, wherein the at least one support transfers weight of the washing tub to the height increasing member without transferring the weight of the cabinet to the height increasing member.
9. The laundry machine according to claim 1, wherein a bottom surface of the height increasing member forms a bottom surface of the laundry machine.

a display panel providing a polarized image with a first polarization at a frame, wherein the display panel has a plurality of pixels; and
a switchable retarder configured on a light path of the polarized image, and the switchable retarder comprising:
a first substrate configured on the display panel;
a plurality of first electrode stripes;
a plurality of second electrode stripes, wherein the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes are configured between the display panel and the first substrate and electrically independent from each other, and each of the first electrode stripes and one of the second electrode stripes defines a retardation region, wherein an area of each of the retardation regions corresponds to an area of numbers of the plurality of pixels; and
a retardation medium configured between the display panel and the first substrate and located at a side of the first electrode stripes and a side of the second electrode stripes, wherein the first electrode stripes are located between the retardation medium and the first substrate, and the second electrode stripes are located between the retardation medium and the display panel, and extending directions of the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes are different;
wherein the retardation medium located in each retardation region is controlled by an electric field formed between the corresponding first electrode stripe and the corresponding second electrode stripe to provide a retardation, such that the polarized imaged with the first polarization is transformed into the polarized image with a second polarization or a third polarization shown by all the pixels at the frame, wherein the second polarization is different from the third polarization; and
wherein at least one of the first and second electrode stripes is not parallelly aligned with an extending direction of a row of the pixels or a line of the pixels.
2. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein one retardation region corresponds to at least one line of the plurality of the pixels.
3. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein the display panel has a timing control unit for driving the plurality of pixels, and the timing control unit is electrically connected to the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes to apply corresponding control voltages to the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes.
4. The display as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a control chip electrically connected to the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes to apply corresponding control voltages to the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes.
5. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein the switchable retarder comprises a second substrate configured between the display panel and the first substrate, and the first electrode stripes, the second electrode stripes, and the retardation medium are configured between the first substrate and the second substrate.
6. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein the display panel comprises a polarizer configured adjacent to the switchable retarder to provide the polarized image.
7. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein the display panel comprises a \xbc wavelength plate disposed at a side of the switchable retarder away from the display panel when the polarized image has a linear polarization.
8. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second polarization is identical to the first polarization when the retardation is zero.
9. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second polarization is different from the first polarization when the retardation is greater or smaller than zero.
10. An electronic device, comprising:
a display, comprising:
a display panel providing a polarized image with a first polarization at a frame, wherein the display panel has a plurality of pixels; and
a switchable retarder configured on a light path of the polarized image, and the switchable retarder comprising:
a first substrate configured on the display panel;
a plurality of first electrode stripes;
a plurality of second electrode stripes, wherein the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes are configured between the display panel and the first substrate and electrically independent from each other, and each of the first electrode stripes and one of the second electrode stripes define a retardation region, wherein an area of each of the retardation regions corresponds to an area of numbers of the plurality of pixels; and
a retardation medium configured between the display panel and the first substrate and located at a side of the first electrode stripes and a side of the second electrode stripes, wherein the first electrode stripes are located between the retardation medium and the first substrate, and the second electrode stripes are located between the retardation medium and the display panel, and extending directions of the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes are different; and
an input unit coupled to the display panel and the input unit providing an input function to the display panel such that the display displays images;
wherein the retardation medium located in each retardation region is controlled by an electric field formed between the corresponding first electrode stripe and the corresponding second electrode stripe to provide a retardation, such that the polarized imaged with the first polarization is transformed into the polarized image with a second polarization or a third polarization shown by all the pixels at the frame, wherein the second polarization is different from the third polarization; and
wherein at least one of the first and second electrode stripes is not parallelly aligned with an extending direction of a row of the pixels or a line of the pixels.
11. A display, comprising:
a display panel providing a polarized image with a first polarization at a frame, wherein the display panel has a plurality of pixels; and
a switchable retarder configured on a light path of the polarized image, and the switchable retarder comprising:
a first substrate configured on the display panel;
a plurality of first electrode stripes;
a plurality of second electrode stripes, wherein the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes are configured between the display panel and the first substrate and electrically independent from each other, and extending directions of the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes are different, and each of the first electrode stripes and one of the second electrode stripes define a retardation region, wherein an area of each of the retardation regions corresponds to an area of numbers of the plurality of pixels; and
a retardation medium configured between the display panel and the first substrate and located at a side of the first electrode stripes and a side of the second electrode stripes;

a switchable retarder configured on a light path of the polarized image, and the switchable retarder comprising:
a first substrate configured on the display panel;
a plurality of first electrode stripes;
a plurality of second electrode stripes, wherein the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes are configured between the display panel and the first substrate and electrically independent from each other, and extending directions of the first electrode stripes and the second electrode stripes are different, and each of the first electrode stripes and one of the second electrode stripes define a retardation region, wherein an area of each of the retardation regions corresponds to an area of numbers of the plurality of pixels; and
a retardation medium configured between the display panel and the first substrate and located at a side of the first electrode stripes and a side of the second electrode stripes, wherein the retardation medium located in each retardation region is controlled by an electric field formed between the corresponding first electrode stripe and the corresponding second electrode stripe to provide a retardation, such that the polarized imaged with the first polarization shown by all pixels passing through the switchable retarder is transformed into the polarized image with a second polarization or a third polarization shown by all the pixels at the frame, wherein the second polarization is different from the third polarization; and
an input unit coupled to the display panel and the input unit providing an input function to the display panel such that the display displays images; and

1. A method of maintaining the confidentiality of data provided by an organization for storage on a third party database system, the method comprising:
receiving data encrypted using a first key, wherein the first key is stored on an internal network of the organization;
storing the encrypted data on the third party database system;
associating, on the third party database system, metadata with the encrypted data, wherein the metadata includes information usable to locate the first key;
receiving a request for the encrypted data from a computing device communicating on the internal network of the organization; and
sending the encrypted data with the associated metadata to the computing device.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the first key is located on a server on the internal network of the organization.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the computer device is operable to:
locate the first key utilizing the associated metadata;
decrypt the encrypted data using the first key; and
display the unencrypted data.
4. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
sending code to the computing device, wherein the code uses the metadata to obtain the first key.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein the code is provided by the third party database system.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein the information usable to locate the first key is an address of where the first key is stored on the internal network of the organization.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein the address is a URL.
8. The method of claim 6, wherein the address is an address usable for LDAP or SOAP.
9. The method of claim 1, wherein the metadata further includes an identifier associated with the encrypted data.
10. The method of claim 9, wherein the data provided by the organization is encrypted with two or more different keys.
11. The method of claim 10, wherein the different keys are utilized for different users or groups of users within the organization.
12. The method of claim 9, wherein the identifier is an identifier that is unique on the internal network of the organization.
13. The method of claim 9, wherein the internal network identifies the first key using the identifier and sends the first key to the computing device.
14. The method of claim 9, wherein the identifier is an identifier that is globally unique on the third party database system.
15. The method of claim 1, wherein the unencrypted data is provided transparently to the user.
16. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
determining an IP address of the requestor, and not sending the metadata from the requestor if the IP address does not meet a predetermined criteria.
17. The method of claim 1, wherein data for multiple organizations are stored on the third party server.
18. A system of maintaining confidentiality of data provided by an organization for storage on a third party database system, the system comprising:
one or more processors;
a network interface; and
a memory for storing instructions to control the processors, the instructions including:
receiving data encrypted using a first key, wherein the first key is stored on an internal network of the organization;
storing the encrypted data on the third party database system;
associating, on the third party database system, metadata with the encrypted data, wherein the metadata includes information usable to locate the first key;
receiving a request for the encrypted data from a computing device communicating on the internal network of the organization; and
sending the encrypted data with the associated metadata to the computing device.
19. The system of claim 18, wherein the computing device is operable to:
locate the first key;
decrypt the encrypted data using the first key; and
display the unencrypted data.
20. The system of claim 18, wherein the instructions further comprise:
sending code to the computing device, wherein in the code uses the metadata to locate the first key.
21. The system of claim 18, wherein the metadata includes:
an address of where the first key is stored on an internal server of the organization; and
an identifier associated with the encrypted data.
22. The system of claim 18, wherein data provided by the organizations is encrypted with two or more keys.
23. A computer program product comprising a tangible computer readable medium storing a plurality of instructions for controlling one or more processors of a third party database system to perform an operation for maintaining the confidentiality of data provided by an organization for storage on a the database, the instructions comprising:
receiving, from the organization, data encrypted using a first key, wherein the first key is stored on an internal server of the organization;
storing the encrypted data on the third party database system;
associating, on the third party database system, metadata with the encrypted data, wherein the metadata includes information usable to locate the first key,
receiving a request for the encrypted data from a computing device communicating with an internal network of the organization; and
sending the encrypted data with the associated metadata to the computing device.
24. A method of maintaining the confidentiality of data provided by an organization to a third party server, the method comprising:
encrypting data using a first key, wherein the first key is located on a first server at the organization;
sending the encrypted data to the third party server for storage, wherein the data is associated with metadata including information usable to locate the first key on the first server;
a computing device requesting, from the third party server, a page of encrypted data, the computing device being in communication with the first server;
receiving, from the third party server, the page and associated metadata;
locating the first key on the first server; and
decrypting the encrypted data using the first key to obtain the requested data.
25. The method of claim 24, further comprising:
displaying the requested data on the computing device.
