A method for moving a message transform from a source broker to a target broker in a distributed messaging system, wherein the distributed messaging system includes a network of broker machines, wherein a plurality of message transforms are deployed in the network of broker machines, and wherein the plurality of message transforms take as input one or more sequences of messages and produce as output one or more sequences of messages, the method comprising:
starting on the target broker a copy of a given message transform from the source broker;
duplicating all inputs into the given message transform on the source broker to additionally go to the copy of the given message transform on the target broker; and
duplicating all outputs of the given message transform on the source broker to also go from the copy of the given message transform on the target broker to appropriate children nodes within the distributed messaging system.
2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
copying a state of the given message transform from the source broker to the copy of the given message transform on the target broker;
3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
terminating the given message transform on the source broker.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein terminating the given transform on the source broker is performed responsive to the copy of the given message transform passing a self-diagnostic.
5. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
receiving a plurality of input messages associated with input streams;
applying the copy of the given transform at the target broker to the plurality of input messages to form an output message, wherein the output message depends on at least two input messages from the plurality of input messages; and
delivering the output message in an output stream.
6. A method for continuous deployment of message transforms in a distributed messaging system, wherein the distributed messaging system includes a network of broker machines, the method comprising:
deploying a plurality of message transforms in the network of broker machines, wherein the plurality of message transforms take as input one or more sequences of messages and produce as output one or more sequences of messages;
receiving performance information from the network of broker machines; and
redeploying at least a subset of the plurality of message transforms in the network of broker machines based on the performance information.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein redeploying at least a subset of the plurality of message transforms includes sending one or more broker instructions to at least one broker machine in the network of broker machines.
8. The method of claim 6, wherein redeploying at least a subset of the plurality of message transforms includes moving a given message transform from a source broker to a target broker in the distributed messaging system.
9. The method of claim 8, wherein moving a given message transform includes:
starting on the target broker a copy of the given message transform from the source broker;
duplicating all inputs into the given message transform on the source broker to additionally go to the copy of the given message transform on the target broker; and
duplicating all outputs of the given message transform on the source broker to also go from the copy of the given message transform on the target broker to appropriate children nodes within the distributed messaging system.
10. An apparatus for implementing a stateful subscription service, the apparatus comprising:
an overlay network including a plurality of broker machines;
a plurality of publishing clients that publish messages to published message streams;
a performance optimization service that determines an assignment of message transforms to broker machines in the overlay network; and
a continuous deployment service that deploys the assignment of message transforms to the plurality of broker machines.
11. The apparatus of claim 10, further comprising:
a plurality of execution engines running on the plurality of broker machines, wherein each execution engine within the plurality of execution engine receives input messages, processes the input messages using the transform objects, and routes output messages toward subscribers.
12. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein at least one message transform in the assignment of message transforms has at least one message delivered to its output stream that depends on more than one input message from an input stream of the message transform.
13. An apparatus for moving a message transform from a source broker to a target broker in a distributed messaging system, wherein the distributed messaging system includes a network of broker machines, wherein a plurality of message transforms are deployed in the network of broker machines, and wherein the plurality of message transforms take as input one or more sequences of messages and produce as output one or more sequences of messages, the apparatus comprising:
means for starting on the target broker a copy of a given message transform from the source broker;
means for duplicating all inputs into the given message transform on the source broker to additionally go to the copy of the given message transform on the target broker; and
means for duplicating all outputs of the given message transform on the source broker to also go from the copy of the given message transform on the target broker to appropriate children nodes within the distributed messaging system.
14. The apparatus of claim 13, further comprising:
means for copying a state of the given message transform from the source broker to the copy of the given message transform on the target broker;
15. The apparatus of claim 13, further comprising:
means for terminating the given message transform on the source broker.
16. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the means for terminating the given transform on the source broker terminates the given transform responsive to the copy of the given message transform passing a self-diagnostic.
17. The apparatus of claim 13, further comprising:
means for receiving a plurality of input messages associated with input streams;
means for applying the copy of the given transform at the target broker to the plurality of input messages to form an output message, wherein the output message depends on at least two input messages from the plurality of input messages; and
means for delivering the output message in an output stream.
18. An apparatus for continuous deployment of message transforms in a distributed messaging system, wherein the distributed messaging system includes a network of broker machines, the apparatus comprising:
means for deploying a plurality of message transforms in the network of broker machines, wherein the plurality of message transforms take as input one or more sequences of messages and produce as output one or more sequences of messages;
means for receiving performance information from the network of broker machines; and
means for redeploying at least a subset of the plurality of message transforms in the network of broker machines based on the performance information.
19. The apparatus of claim 18, wherein the means for redeploying at least a subset of the plurality of message transforms includes means for sending one or more broker instructions to at least one broker machine in the network of broker machines.
20. The apparatus of claim 18, wherein the means for redeploying at least a subset of the plurality of message transforms includes means for moving a given message transform from a source broker to a target broker in the distributed messaging system.
21. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the means for moving a given message transform includes:
means for starting on the target broker a copy of the given message transform from the source broker;
means for duplicating all inputs into the given message transform on the source broker to additionally go to the copy of the given message transform on the target broker; and
means for duplicating all outputs of the given message transform on the source broker to also go from the copy of the given message transform on the target broker to appropriate children nodes within the distributed messaging system.

A computer program product, in a computer readable medium, for moving a message transform from a source broker to a target broker in a distributed messaging system, wherein the distributed messaging system includes a network of broker machines, wherein a plurality of message transforms are deployed in the network of broker machines, and wherein the plurality of message transforms take as input one or more sequences of messages and produce as output one or more sequences of messages, the computer program product comprising:
instructions for starting on the target broker a copy of a given message transform from the source broker;
instructions for duplicating all inputs into the given message transform on the source broker to additionally go to the copy of the given message transform on the target broker; and
instructions for duplicating all outputs of the given message transform on the source broker to also go from the copy of the given message transform on the target broker to appropriate children nodes within the distributed messaging system.
23. A computer program product, in a computer readable medium, for continuous deployment of message transforms in a distributed messaging system, wherein the distributed messaging system includes a network of broker machines, the computer program product comprising:
instructions for deploying a plurality of message transforms in the network of broker machines, wherein the plurality of message transforms take as input one or more sequences of messages and produce as output one or more sequences of messages;
instructions for receiving performance information from the network of broker machines; and
instructions for redeploying at least a subset of the plurality of message transforms in the network of broker machines based on the performance information.

1. A method for mechanically coupling at least one of a composite or a polymeric material to a radial airfoil, said method comprising:
forming at least one window in an airfoil portion of the radial airfoil, such that the window extends through the airfoil, wherein the window includes a sidewall having an inclined surface that extends through the airfoil portion and that is oriented to facilitate retaining the at least one of a composite or a polymeric material therein;
forming a dovetail-shaped surface of the sidewall that defines the at least one window, wherein the dovetail-shaped surface facilitates transferring a force imparted on the at least one of a composite or a polymeric material to the radial airfoil during a centrifugal loading of the radial airfoil, wherein the dovetail-shaped edges include at least one of the plurality of inclined surface sidewalls; and
filling the window with the at least one of a composite or a polymeric material configured to tolerate relatively high temperatures generated on the airfoil by windage conditions and having a sufficient stiffness to facilitate adherence within the at least one window, wherein windage conditions comprises operation during low flow, relatively high speed rotation conditions.
2. A method in accordance with claim 1 wherein said forming at least one window comprises creating a plurality of windows within the airfoil portion.
3. A method in accordance with claim 1 wherein filling the window further comprises filling the window with a filler material to substantially return an original shape of the radial airfoil.
4. A method in accordance with claim 1 further comprising curing the composite or polymeric material utilizing a caul sheet on both sides of the radial airfoil.
5. A method in accordance with claim 1 further comprising orienting the fibers of the composite or polymeric material to facilitate tuning the radial airfoil.
6. A method in accordance with claim 1 further comprising forming the dovetail shaped surface of the sidewall with at least one of a concave edge and a convex edge such that the dovetail shaped surface of the sidewall facilitates retaining the at least one of a composite or a polymeric material within the window.
7. An airfoil comprising:
a first side comprising an outer surface;
a second side coupled to said first side, and comprising an outer surface;
at least one window formed in an airfoil portion of the radial airfoil, such that the window extends through the airfoil and has a sidewall formed within said airfoil, said at least one window comprising a dovetailed-shaped surface of said sidewall of said airfoil, said dovetailed-shaped surface is inclined and extends obliquely inward from said first side towards said second side through said airfoil; and
a filler material positioned within said at least one window, said sidewall having an inclined surface facilitates retaining said filler material within said at least one window.
8. An airfoil in accordance with claim 7 wherein said sidewall having an inclined surface is either concave or convex around said dovetail-shaped edges.
9. An airfoil in accordance with claim 8 wherein said sidewall having an inclined surface is selected to be either concave or convex around said dovetail-shaped edges in accordance with at least one of a plurality of retainment characteristics.
10. An airfoil in accordance with claim 7 wherein said sidewall having an inclined surface facilitates reducing stress concentrations induced on said airfoil.
11. An airfoil in accordance with claim 7 wherein said filler material comprises layers of a fabric material in a resin matrix.
12. An airfoil in accordance with claim 11 wherein said fabric material is a pre-impregnated unidirectional fabric tape lay-up.
13. An airfoil in accordance with claim 12 wherein said fabric material is a quasi-isotropic tape lay-up.
14. An airfoil in accordance with claim 12 wherein said fabric material is at least one of a uniaxial and a biaxial material.

determining the operation mode from among the plurality of operation modes based on a selection criterion and based on the analysis in said print data analyzing step;
processing the temporarily stored generated print data in accordance with the determined operation mode;
displaying an evaluation screen for querying evaluation of a printing quality for the print processing, after the print processing of the print data is finished, in a case where the evaluation information set in said setting step indicates that the operation mode is to be evaluated;
acquiring an evaluation result input by a user via the evaluation screen displayed in said displaying step; and
updating the selection criterion for determining said operation mode based on the evaluation result acquired in said evaluation acquisition step so as to effect a next determination of the operation mode,
wherein, in order to enable the user to selectively input the evaluation result, options consisting of a print quality is satisfactory option, a printing should be faster option, a print should be clearer option, and a printing should be more accurate option are displayed in said displaying step.
2. A print control method according to claim 1, further comprising:
a classification step of outputting classification data by analyzing the temporarily stored generated print data so that the print data is classified into one of classifications based on the type of the print data; and
a storage step in which, based on the evaluation result acquired in said evaluation acquisition step and the classification data output in said classification step, the selection criterion is updated.
3. A print control method according to claim 2, wherein in said determination step determines the operation mode also based on the classification data.
4. A print control method according to claim 1, wherein said displaying step displays a plurality of options to query the evaluation of the printing speed for the print processing or the quality of print produced by the print processing, and wherein said evaluation acquisition step acquires a selected option as the evaluation result.
5. A print control method according to claim 1, further comprising a test-print designation step for designating a test print in which a process of querying the evaluation of the print is performed,
wherein, when the test print is designated in said test-print designation step, the evaluation of the print is acquired in said evaluation acquisition step.
6. A print data processing apparatus for performing print processing in an operation mode which is automatically determined from among a plurality of operation modes in response to a print request from an application program, said print data processing apparatus comprising:
setting means for setting evaluation information indicating whether or not the operation mode is to be evaluated after printing;
print data generating means for generating print data in an intermediate condition and temporarily storing the generated print data, wherein said print data generating means responds to the print request from the application program, and wherein the intermediate condition is independent of a particular page description language;
print data analyzing means for analyzing the temporarily stored generated print data;
determining means for determining the operation mode from among the plurality of operation modes based on a selection criterion and based on the analysis in said print data analyzing means;
print processing means for processing the temporarily stored generated print data in accordance with the determined operation mode;
displaying means for displaying an evaluation screen for querying the user of said print data processing apparatus about evaluation of a printing quality for the print processing, after the print processing of the print data is finished, means in a case where the evaluation information set by said setting means indicates that the operation mode is to be evaluated;
evaluation acquisition means for acquiring an evaluation result input by a user via the evaluation screen displayed by said displaying means; and

21. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound according to claim 1, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
22. A composition according to claim 21, which is a tablet or capsule for oral administration.
23. A compound according to claim 1 having one or more stereogenic centres.
24. A process of preparation of a composition which is a compound of formula 1, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof,
wherein:
A1, A2 and A3 are each independently selected from A5 and A6; and
A4 is either a covalent bond or A5; provided that
when A4 is a covalent bond then one of A1-A3 is A6 and the other two are A5 and that
when A4 is A5 then all of A1-A3 are A5;

A5 is selected from C\u2014R13 and N;
A6 is selected from N\u2014R14, S and O;
R1 is selected from H, NHY1 and COY2 and R2 is H; or R1 and R2 are both methyl or together are \u2550O;
R3, R4 and R5 are each independently H, lower alkyl or lower alkenyl;
R6, R7, R8, R9, R10, R11 and R12 are each independently selected from H, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, NH2, F, Cl, Br, O-alkyl, O-lower alkenyl, CH2NMe2 and CF3;

which comprises the steps of:
a) formation of an amide from a carboxylic acid and a cyclic amine; and
b) formation of a sulphonamide from a sulphonyl chloride and an amine.
25. A process according to claim 24, in which step (a) comprises reaction of a compound of formula 7
and a compound of formula 6
to obtain a compound of formula 9
and step (b) comprises reaction of the compound of formula 9 with a compound of formula 8
to form the compound of formula 1.
