1. A control method of a refrigerator having a storage chamber separately provided in a refrigerating compartment for aging of meat, comprising:
keeping the storage chamber at an aging temperature for a first time, and cooling the storage chamber to a cooling temperature lower than the aging temperature for a second time after the first time passes; and
repeatedly cycling the storage chamber between the aging temperature and the cooling temperature to enable aging of meat, wherein
the temperature of the storage chamber is repeatedly controlled to the aging temperature and the cooling temperature for a preset meat aging period until the meat is aged, the temperature of the storage chamber being repeatedly controlled to the aging temperature and the cooling temperature such that the aging temperature and the cooling temperature are each reached at least two times during the meat aging period, and
the control method further comprises keeping the storage chamber at a storage temperature to store the aged meat after the meat aging period passes, wherein the aging temperature and the cooling temperature are determined within preset ranges, respectively, which are separated from each other, wherein the first time and the second time are preset, respectively, the first time is set to be longer than the second time, and the storage temperature is determined between the aging temperature and the cooling temperature.
2. A refrigerator having a storage chamber separately defined in a refrigerating compartment for aging of meat, comprising:
a cooling system to cool the storage chamber; and
a control unit to repeat an operation to keep the storage chamber at an aging temperature for a first time and an operation to cool the storage chamber to a cooling temperature lower than the aging temperature for a second time by driving the cooling system after the first time passes,
wherein the control unit controls a temperature of the storage chamber for a preset meat aging period until the meat is aged, the control unit causing the storage chamber to reach the aging temperature and the cooling temperature at least two times each during the meat aging period, and keeps the storage chamber at a storage temperature to store the aged meat after the meat aging period passes, wherein the aging temperature and the cooling temperature are determined within preset ranges, respectively, which are separated from each other, wherein the first time and the second time are preset, respectively, the first time is set to be longer than the second time, and the storage temperature is determined between the aging temperature and the cooling temperature.
3. A control method of a refrigerator having a storage chamber separately provided in a refrigerating compartment for aging of meat, comprising:
keeping the storage chamber at an aging temperature for a first time;
cooling the storage chamber to a cooling temperature lower than the aging temperature for a second time when the first time passes; and
repeatedly cycling the storage chamber between the aging temperature and the cooling temperature to enable aging of meat,
wherein the temperature of the storage chamber is repeatedly controlled to the aging temperature and the cooling temperature for a preset meat aging period until the meat is aged, the temperature of the storage chamber being repeatedly cycled between the aging temperature and the cooling temperature such that the aging temperature and the cooling temperature are each reached at least two times during the meat aging period, wherein the aging temperature and the cooling temperature are determined within preset ranges, respectively, which are separated from each other, wherein the first time and the second time are preset, respectively, the first time is set to be longer than the second time, and a storage temperature is determined between the aging temperature and the cooling temperature.
4. The control method according to claim 3, wherein the temperature of the storage chamber is repeatedly controlled in such a manner that the storage chamber is kept at the aging temperature for the first time and is cooled to the cooling temperature for the second time after the first time passes.
5. The control method according to claim 3, further comprising storing the aged meat at the storage temperature of the storage chamber after the meat aging period passes.
6. The control method according to claim 5, wherein:
the aging temperature is in a range of about 1\xb0 C. to about 5\xb0 C.;
the cooling temperature is in a range of about \u22123\xb0 C. to about \u22121\xb0 C.;
the storage temperature is in a range of about \u22122\xb0 C. to about 0\xb0 C.; and
the meat aging period is about 2 days to about 7 days.
7. The control method according to claim 3, further comprising inputting a meat aging mode by a user.
8. A refrigerator having a storage chamber separately defined in a refrigerating compartment for aging of meat, comprising:
a cooling system to cool the storage chamber; and
a control unit to repeat an operation to keep the storage chamber at an aging temperature for a first time and an operation to cool the storage chamber to a cooling temperature lower than the aging temperature for a second time by driving the cooling system after the first time passes,
wherein the control unit repeatedly controls the temperature of the storage chamber to the aging temperature and the cooling temperature for a preset meat aging period until the meat is aged, the control unit causing the storage chamber to reach the aging temperature and the cooling temperature at least two times each during the meat aging period, wherein the aging temperature and the cooling temperature are determined within preset ranges, respectively, which are separated from each other, wherein the first time and the second time are preset, respectively, the first time is set to be longer than the second time, and a storage temperature is determined between the aging temperature and the cooling temperature.
9. The refrigerator according to claim 8, wherein the control unit repeats an operation to keep the storage chamber at the aging temperature for a preset first time and an operation to cool the storage chamber to the cooling temperature for a preset second time after the first time passes.
10. The refrigerator according to claim 8, wherein the control unit keeps the storage chamber at the storage temperature to store the aged meat after the meat aging period passes.

What is claimed is:

1. An apparatus for shipping a plurality of preformed flower pot covers, each preformed flower pot cover including a base having a closed lower end and an open upper end with an object opening extending therethrough for receiving the flower pot, the preformed flower pot cover having a skirt extending from the open upper end, the apparatus comprising:
a container having a top, a bottom, and plurality of sidewalls cooperating to define an inner packing compartment, each of the top, bottom, and sidewalls having an interior surface and an exterior surface;
at least a first stacking shell configured so as to correspondingly receive the base of the preformed flower pot cover, the first stacking shell extending from the interior surface of the bottom of the container; and
at least a second stacking shell configured to be received in the object opening of the preformed flower pot cover, the second stacking shell extending from the interior surface of the top of the container.
2. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the first stacking shell is oppositely disposed in the inner packing compartment of the container relative to the second stacking shell.
3. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein at least the first stacking shell is attached to the bottom of the container with a bonding material selected from a group consisting of an adhesive, a cohesive, double-sided tape and combinations thereof.
4. The apparatus of claim 3 wherein the base of each of the preformed flower pot covers is formed into a plurality of overlapping connecting folds and wherein the first stacking shell is further defined as having an exterior base support member which defines and opening in the first stacking shell which is configured to substantially conform to the contours of the base of the preformed flower pot cover such that upon providing a stack of preformed flower pot covers disposed in the opening of the first stacking shell, the preformed flower pot covers are laterally supported so as to prevent damage to the preformed flower pot covers.
5. The apparatus of claim 4 wherein the base of each of the preformed flower pot covers is further defined as having a height extending from a lower end to an upper end of the base and wherein the exterior base support member of the first stacking shell is further defined as having a height extending from a lower end to an upper end of the exterior base support member, the height of the exterior base support member of the first stacking shell measuring at least half the height of the base of the preformed flower pot cover.
6. The apparatus of claim 5 wherein the first stacking shell is a flower pot having a closed lower end, an open upper end and a substantially conically shaped exterior base support member between the lower and upper ends.
7. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the second stacking shell is attached to the top of the container with a bonding material selected from a group consisting of an adhesive, a cohesive, double-sided tape and combinations thereof.
8. The apparatus of claim 7 wherein the second stacking shell is further defined as having an interior base support member configured to substantially conform to the contours of the base of the preformed flower pot cover such that upon providing a stack of preformed flower pot covers, the preformed flower pot covers are supported on the second stacking shell so that the decorative skirt of the preformed flower pot cover is in a non-load bearing relationship with respect to the top, bottom, and sidewalls of the container so as to prevent damage to the decorative skirt of the preformed flower pot cover.
9. The apparatus of claim 8 wherein each of the preformed flower pot covers is further defined as having a height extending from a lower end of the base to the decorative skirt of the preformed flower pot cover and wherein the interior base support member of the second stacking shell is further defined as having a height extending from a lower end to an upper end of the interior base support member of the second stacking shell, the height of the preformed flower pot cover measuring less than the height of the interior base support member of the second stacking shell.
10. The apparatus of claim 9 wherein the second stacking shell is a flower pot having a closed lower end, an open upper end and a substantially conically shaped interior base support member between the lower and upper ends configured to be received in the object opening of the preformed flower pot cover.
11. An apparatus for shipping a plurality of preformed flower pot covers, each preformed flower pot cover including a base shaped and sized to receive a flower pot and a decorative skirt extending from the base of the preformed flower pot cover, the apparatus comprising:
a container having a top, a bottom, and a plurality of sidewalls cooperating to define an inner packing compartment, each of the top, bottom, and sidewalls having an interior surface and an exterior surface; and
at least one stacking shell extending from the interior surface of the bottom of the container, the stacking shell having a interior base support member configured to substantially conform to the contours of the base of the preformed flower pot cover such that upon providing a stack of preformed flower pot covers, the preformed flower pot covers are supported on the stacking shell so that the decorative skirt of the preformed flower pot cover is in a non-load bearing relationship with respect to the bottom of the container so as to prevent damage to the decorative skirt of the preformed flower pot cover.
12. The apparatus of claim 11 wherein the stacking shell is attached to the bottom of the container with a bonding material selected from a group consisting of an adhesive, a cohesive, double-sided tape and combinations thereof.
13. The apparatus of claim 12 wherein each of the preformed flower pot covers is further defined as having a height extending from a lower end of the base to the decorative skirt of the preformed flower pot cover and wherein the stacking shell is further defined as having a height extending from a lower end to an upper end of the interior base support member of the stacking shell, the height of the preformed flower pot cover measuring less than the height of the stacking shell.
14. The apparatus of claim 13 wherein the stacking shell is a flower pot having a closed lower end, an open upper end and a substantially conically shaped interior base support member between the lower and upper ends configured to be received by the object opening of the preformed flower pot cover.
15. An apparatus for shipping a plurality of preformed flower pot covers, each preformed flower pot cover including a sheet of material formed into a plurality of overlapping connecting folds shaped and sized to receive a flower pot, the preformed flower pot cover having a base and a decorative skirt extending from the base of the preformed flower pot cover, the apparatus comprising:
a container having a top, a bottom, and a plurality of sidewalls cooperating to define an inner packing compartment, each of the top, bottom, and sidewalls having an interior surface and an exterior surface; and
at least one stacking shell extending from the bottom of the container, the stacking shell having a exterior base support member defining an opening in the stacking shell which is configured to substantially conform to the contours of the base of the preformed flower pot cover such that upon providing a stack of preformed flower pot covers disposed within the opening of the stacking shell, the preformed flower pot covers are laterally supported so as to prevent damage to the preformed flower pot covers.
16. The apparatus of claim 15 wherein the stacking shell is attached to the bottom of the container with a bonding material selected from a group consisting of an adhesive, a cohesive, double-sided tape and combinations thereof.
17. The apparatus of claim 16 wherein the base of each of the preformed flower pot covers is further defined as having a height extending from a lower end to an upper end of the base of the preformed flower pot cover and wherein the exterior base support member of the stacking shell is defined as having a height extending from a lower end to an upper end of the exterior base support member of the stacking shell, the height of the exterior base support member of the stacking shell measuring at least half the height of the base of the preformed flower pot cover.
18. The apparatus of claim 17 wherein the stacking shell is a flower pot having a closed lower end, an open upper end and a substantially conically shaped exterior base support member between the lower and upper ends.
19. A method for shipping a plurality of preformed flower pot covers, each preformed flower pot cover sized to receive a flower pot, the method comprising:
providing a container having a top, a bottom, and a plurality of sidewalls cooperating to define an inner packing compartment, each of the top, bottom, and sidewalls having an interior surface and an exterior surface;
providing at least one stacking shell extending from the interior surface of the bottom of the container, the stacking shell adapted to support the preformed flower pot covers disposed within the inner packing compartment of the carton; and
forming a stack of preformed flower pot covers on each of the stacking shells such that the preformed flower pot covers of the stacks are nested within one another and supported by the stacking shells; and
transporting the container to a predetermined destination.
20. The method of claim 19 wherein the stacking shell is attached to the bottom of the container with a bonding material selected from a group consisting of an adhesive, a cohesive, double-sided tape and combinations thereof.
21. The method of claim 20 wherein each of the preformed flower pot covers is provided with a base formed into a plurality of overlapping connecting folds and wherein at least a first stacking shell is defined as having an exterior base support member defining an opening in the stacking shell which is configured to substantially conform to the contours of the base of the preformed flower pot cover such that upon providing a stack of preformed flower pot covers disposed in the opening of the stacking shell, the preformed flower pot covers are laterally supported so as to prevent the overlapping connecting folds of the preformed flower pot covers from becoming unconnected.
22. The method of claim 21 wherein the base of each of the preformed flower pot covers is further defined as having a height extending from a lower end to an upper end of the base of the preformed flower pot cover and wherein the exterior base support member of the first stacking shell is further defined as having a height extending from a lower end to an upper end of the exterior base support member of the first stacking shell, the height of the exterior base support member of the first stacking shell measuring at least half the height of the base of the preformed flower pot covers.
23. The apparatus of claim 22 wherein the first stacking shell is a flower pot having a closed lower end, an open upper end and a substantially conically shaped exterior base support member between the lower and upper ends.
24. The apparatus of claim 20 wherein each of the preformed flower pot covers is further provided with a base and a decorative skirt extending from the base of the preformed flower pot cover and wherein at least a first stacking shell is defined as having an interior base support member configured to substantially conform to the contours of the base of the preformed flower pot cover such that upon providing a stack of preformed flower pot covers, the preformed flower pot covers are supported on the first stacking shell so that the decorative skirt is in a non-load bearing relationship with respect to the bottom of the container so as to prevent damage to the decorative skirt.
25. The apparatus of claim 24 wherein the preformed flower pot covers is further defined as having a height extending from a lower end of the base to the decorative skirt of the preformed flower pot cover and wherein the interior base support member of the first stacking shell is further defined as having a height extending from a lower end to an upper end of the interior base support member of the first stacking shell, the height of the preformed flower pot cover measuring less than the height of the interior base support member of the first stacking shell.
26. The apparatus of claim 25 wherein the first stacking shell is a flower pot having a closed lower end, an open upper end and a substantially conically shaped interior base support member between the lower and upper ends.

1. A composition that preserves and enhances the brightness of a ligno-cellulosic material comprising an effective amount of a penetrant compound comprising (i) a reductive nucleophilic agent and (ii) a chelant in a paper or tissue machine.
2. The composition of claim 1, wherein the ligno-cellulosic material is pulp, paper, recycled paper or paper tissue.
3. The composition of claim 1, wherein the reductive nucleophilic agent is selected from the group consisting of water-soluble inorganic sulfites, bisulfites, metabisulfites, substituted phosphines and tertiary salts thereof, formamidinesulfinic acid and salts thereof, and formaldehyde bisulfite adduct.
4. The composition of claim 3, wherein the bisulfite is sodium bisulfite.
5. The composition of claim 1, wherein the chelant is at least one of an organic phosphonate, phosphate or a carboxylate and salts thereof.
6. The composition of claim 5, wherein the phosphonate is diethylene-triamine-pentamethylene phosphonic acid (DTMPA) and salts thereof.
7. The composition of claim 1, further comprising dithiocarbamates and derivatives thereof.
8. A composition that preserves and enhances the brightness of a ligno-cellulosic material comprising an effective amount of a penetrant compound comprising phosphonate and bisulfite and salts thereof in a paper or tissue machine.
9. A composition of claim 1, wherein the penetrant compound comprises sodium DTMPA and sodium bisulfite.
10. The composition of claim 1, wherein the penetrant compound further comprises polyacrylate.
11. A method that preserves and enhances the brightness of a ligno-cellulosic material comprising applying penetrant compound of claim 1 directly to the wet sheet before the dryers, to the dry sheet in a size press or split-fed.
12. A method to prevent thermal brightness loss in a paper machine comprising applying the penetrant compound of claim 1 directly to the wet sheet before the dryers, to the dry sheet in a size press or split-fed.
13. A method to prevent thermal brightness loss during storage in wet mechanical, chemical, chemi-mechanical or mixtures thereof pulp comprising applying the penetrant compound of claim 1, directly to the wet sheet before the dryers, to the dry sheet in a size press or split-fed.
14. An enhanced optical brightener composition comprising whitening agents and a penetrant composition of claim 1.
15. Pulp, paper, recycled paper or paper tissue produced from ligno-cellulosic material by application of a penetrant compound of claim 1.
16. A ligno-cellulosic material with enhanced brightness and brightness-stabilized by application of a penetrant compound of claim 1.
17. A composition according to claim 1, which additionally contains at least one carrier or additive typically used in papermaking.
