1. An apparatus comprising:
a facility configured to detect a concurrent call condition including a first call from a first communications device associated with a first phone number to a second communications device associated with a second phone number and a second call to the first communications device from a third communications device associated with a third phone number,
wherein the facility is configured to provide a user-indicator in response to detection of the concurrent call condition, the concurrent call condition being detected based on a contact entry of a database, the contact entry associating the second phone number and the third phone number with a contact, wherein the second phone number is different from the third phone number,
wherein the facility is configured to initiate a release of the first call and configured to initiate a call connection of the second call, in response to a predetermined user input received by the first communications device,
wherein the first call includes a call connection between the first communications device and a voicemail system associated with the second communications device,
wherein the release of the first call includes terminating the call connection between the first communications device and the voicemail system and the release includes prompting a user of the communications device to delete an incomplete voicemail message prior to the termination.
2. The apparatus, as recited in claim 1, further comprising at least one of an audio interface and a visual interface configured to provide the user-indicator.
3. The apparatus, as recited in claim 1, wherein the facility comprises a computer program product executable encoded in one or more computer readable media selected from the set of disk, tape, or other magnetic, optical, or electronic storage medium.
4. The apparatus, as recited in claim 1, further comprising:
a communications interface configured to receive caller identification information associated with the third communications device; and
a controller configured to provide the caller identification information to the facility.
5. The apparatus, as recited in claim 1, wherein the release of the first call includes appending a predetermined message to a voicemail message on the voicemail system.
6. The apparatus, as recited in claim 1, wherein the type is home, office, or mobile communications device.
7. A method comprising:
detecting, by a first communications device, a concurrent call condition of a first call from the first communications device associated with a first phone number to a second communications device associated with a second phone number, and a second call to the first communications device from a third communications device associated with a third phone number, the concurrent call condition being detected based on a contact entry of a database, the contact entry associating the second phone number and the third phone number with a contact, the second phone number being different from the third phone number; and
providing a user-indicator in response to detection of the concurrent call condition,
initiating a release of the first call and initiating a call connection of the second call, both in response to a predetermined user input received by the first communications device,
wherein the first call includes a call connection between the first communications device and a voicemail system associated with the second communications device,
wherein the release of the first call includes terminating the call connection between the first communications device and the voicemail system and the release includes prompting a user of the communications device to delete an incomplete voicemail message prior to the termination.
8. The method, as recited in claim 7, further comprising:
requesting by the first communications device, to participate in a first call connection between the first communications device and the second communications device; and receiving by the first communications device, a request for a second call connection between the first communications device and the third communications device.
9. The method, as recited in claim 7, wherein the user-indicator provides information associated with the third communications device.
10. The method, as recited in claim 7, wherein the user-indicator is provided after establishing a voicemail connection between the first communications device and a voicemail system associated with the second communications device.
11. The method, as recited in claim 7, further comprising:
initiating in response to a second predetermined user-input, deletion of an incomplete voicemail message from the voicemail system prior to terminating the voicemail connection.
12. The method, as recited in claim 7, further comprising:
initiating in response to a second predetermined user-input, inclusion of a predetermined message appended to an incomplete voicemail message prior to terminating the voicemail connection.
13. The method, as recited in claim 7, wherein the user-indicator includes at least one of an audible indication and a visual indication.
14. The method, as recited in claim 7, wherein the user indicator provides an indication of a type of the third communications device.
15. The method, as recited in claim 14, wherein the type is home, office, or mobile communications device.
16. An apparatus comprising:
a communications interface; and
means for detecting a concurrent call condition of a first call from a first communications device associated with a first phone number to a second communications device associated with a second phone number and a second call between the first communications device and a third communications device associated with a third phone number, the concurrent call condition being detected based on a contact entry of a database, the contact entry associating the second phone number and the third phone number with a contact, the second phone number being different from the third phone number and the means for detecting being configured to provide a user-indicator in response to detection of the concurrent call condition, the user indictor being based on identity information associated with the third communications device retrieved from a database; and
means for initiating a release of the first call and initiating a call connection of the second call, both in response to a predetermined user input received by the first communications device,
wherein the first call includes a call connection between the first communications device and a voicemail system associated with the second communications device,
wherein the release of the first call includes terminating the call connection between the first communications device and the voicemail system and the release includes prompting a user of the communications device to delete an incomplete voicemail message prior to the termination.

1. A method for coding video information of a multi-layer bitstream, comprising:
determining at least one picture among a plurality of pictures included within an access unit with which to associate at least one recovery point supplemental enhancement information (SEI) message, the access unit being included within the multi-layer bitstream;
associating the at least one recovery point SEI message with the determined at least one picture; and
coding the video information based at least in part on the association of the at least one recovery point SEI message with the determined at least one picture.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the associating the at least one recovery point SEI message with the determined at least one picture comprises associating the at least one recovery point SEI message with more than one picture included in the access unit, the at least one recovery point SEI message comprising a scalable nesting SEI message.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the associating the at least one recovery point SEI message with the determined at least one picture comprises:
associating a first recovery point SEI message with a first picture of the access unit; and
associating a second recovery point SEI message with a second picture of the access unit.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein the access unit comprises a first picture in a first layer and a second picture in a second layer, the second layer being a dependent layer of the first layer, wherein the associating comprises:
determining whether the first picture is known to be within a defined range for correct decoding of the first picture; and
associating the at least one recovery point SEI message with the second picture in response to determining that the first picture is known to be within the defined range.
5. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
associating a subset of the plurality of pictures included in the access unit with the at least one recovery point SEI message; and
associating a first region refresh SEI message with at least one picture of the subset of the plurality of pictures associated with the at least one recovery point SEI message.
6. The method of claim 5, further comprising associating a second region refresh SEI message with another picture of the subset of the plurality of pictures associated with the at least one recovery point SEI message.
7. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one recovery point SEI message comprises an indication of a recovery point picture and an exact match flag, the method further comprising:
determining whether decoding of the video information beginning at the access unit would result in the same recovery point picture as decoding the video information beginning at an intra random access point (IRAP) picture; and
setting the exact match flag to indicate that the decoding of the video information would result in the same recovery point picture in response to determining that the decoding of the video information would result in the same recovery point picture.
8. A device for coding video information of a multi-layer bitstream, comprising:
a memory configured to store the video information; and
a processor in communication with the memory and configured to:
determine at least one picture among a plurality of pictures included within an access unit with which to associate at least one recovery point supplemental enhancement information (SEI) message, the access unit included in the multi-layer bitstream;
associate the at least one recovery point SEI message with the determined at least one picture; and
code the video information based at least in part on the association of the at least one recovery point SEI message with the determined at least one picture.
9. The device of claim 8, wherein the processor is further configured to associate the at least one recovery point SEI message with more than one picture included in the access unit, the at least one recovery point SEI message comprising a scalable nesting SEI message.
10. The device of claim 8, wherein the processor is further configured to:
associate a first recovery point SEI message with a first picture of the access unit; and
associate a second recovery point SEI message with a second picture of the access unit.
11. The device of claim 8, wherein the access unit comprises a first picture in a first layer and a second picture in a second layer, the second layer being a dependent layer of the first layer, wherein the processor is further configured to:
determine whether the first picture is known to be within a defined range for correct decoding of the first picture; and
associate the at least one recovery point SEI message with the second picture in response to the determination that the first picture is known to be within the defined range.
12. The device of claim 8, wherein the processor is further configured to:
associate a subset of the plurality of pictures included in the access unit with the at least one recovery point SEI message; and
associate a first region refresh SEI message with at least one picture of the subset of the plurality of pictures associated with the at least one recovery point SEI message.
13. The device of claim 12, wherein the processor is further configured to associate a second region refresh SEI message with another picture of the subset of the plurality of pictures associated with the at least one recovery point SEI message.
14. The device of claim 8, wherein the at least one recovery point SEI message comprises an indication of a recovery point picture and an exact match flag, and wherein the processor is further configured to:
determine whether decoding of the video information beginning at the access unit would result in the same recovery point picture as decoding the video information beginning at an intra random access point (IRAP) picture; and
set the exact match flag to indicate that the decoding of the video information would result in the same recovery point picture in response to determining that the decoding of the video information would result in the same recovery point picture.
15. An apparatus, comprising:
means for determining at least one picture among a plurality of pictures included within an access unit with which to associate at least one recovery point supplemental enhancement information (SEI) message, the access unit being included within a multi-layer bitstream;
means for associating the at least one recovery point SEI message with the determined at least one picture; and
means for coding the video information based at least in part on the association of the at least one recovery point SEI message with the determined at least one picture.
16. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the means for associating comprises means for associating the at least one recovery point SEI message with more than one picture included in the access unit, the at least one recovery point SEI message comprising a scalable nesting SEI message.
17. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the means for associating comprises:
means for associating a first recovery point SEI message with a first picture of the access unit; and
means for associating a second recovery point SEI message with a second picture of the access unit.
18. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the access unit comprises a first picture in a first layer and a second picture in a second layer, the second layer being a dependent layer of the first layer, wherein the means for associating comprises:
means for determining whether the first picture is known to be within a defined range for correct decoding of the first picture; and
means for associating the at least one recovery point SEI message with the second picture in response to determining that the first picture is known to be within the defined range.
19. The apparatus of claim 15, further comprising:
means for associating a subset of the plurality of pictures included in the access unit with the at least one recovery point SEI message; and
means for associating the first region refresh SEI message with at least one picture of the subset of the plurality of pictures associated with the at least one recovery point SEI message.
20. The apparatus of claim 19, further comprising means for associating a second region refresh SEI message with another picture of the subset of the plurality of pictures associated with the at least one recovery point SEI message.
21. The apparatus of claim 15, wherein the at least one recovery point SEI message comprises an indication of a recovery point picture and an exact match flag, the apparatus further comprising:
means for determining whether decoding of the video information beginning at the access unit would result in the same recovery point picture as decoding the video information beginning at an intra random access point (IRAP) picture; and
means for setting the exact match flag to indicate that the decoding of the video information would result in the same recovery point picture in response to determining that the decoding of the video information would result in the same recovery point picture.
22. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium having stored thereon instructions that, when executed, cause a processor of a device to:
determine at least one picture among a plurality of pictures included within an access unit with which to associate at least one recovery point supplemental enhancement information (SEI) message, the access unit being included within a multi-layer bitstream;
associate the at least one recovery point SEI message with the determined at least one picture; and
code the video information based at least in part on the association of the at least one recovery point SEI message with the determined at least one picture.
23. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 22, further having stored thereon instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to associate the at least one recovery point SEI message with more than one picture included in the access unit, the at least one recovery point SEI message comprising a scalable nesting SEI message.
24. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 22, further having stored thereon instructions that, when executed, causes the processor to:
associate a first recovery point SEI message with a first picture of the access unit; and
associate a second recovery point SEI message with a second picture of the access unit.
25. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 22, wherein the access unit comprises a first picture in a first layer and a second picture in a second layer, the second layer being a dependent layer of the first layer, the non-transitory computer readable storage medium further having stored thereon instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to:
determine whether the first picture is known to be within a defined range for correct decoding of the first picture; and
associate the at least one recovery point SEI message with the second picture in response to determining that the first picture is known to be within the defined range.
26. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 22, further having stored thereon instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to:
associate a subset of the plurality of pictures included in the access unit with the at least one recovery point SEI message; and
associate the first region refresh SEI message with at least one picture of the subset of the plurality of pictures associated with the at least one recovery point SEI message.
27. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 26, further having stored thereon instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to associate a second region refresh SEI message with another picture of the subset of the plurality of pictures associated with the at least one recovery point SEI message.
28. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 22, wherein the at least one recovery point SEI message comprises an indication of a recovery point picture and an exact match flag, the non-transitory computer readable storage medium further having stored thereon instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to:
determine whether decoding of the video information beginning at the access unit would result in the same recovery point picture as decoding the video information beginning at an intra random access point (IRAP) picture; and
set the exact match flag to indicate that the decoding of the video information would result in the same recovery point picture in response to determining that the decoding of the video information would result in the same recovery point picture.
