1. An electrophoretic dispersion liquid for an electrophoretic display apparatus, comprising:
a plurality of electrophoretic particles each surface of which is modified by one of a basic group and an acidic group,
a liquid for holding said electrophoretic particles to be dispersed therein, and
a polydiene, having the other group, dissolved in said liquid.
2. A liquid according to claim 1, wherein said polydiene is a graft polydiene having a grafted acidic group or a grafted basic group.
3. A liquid according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said polydiene is a polybutadiene.
4. A liquid according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said polydiene is a polyisoprene.
5. A liquid according to claim 1, wherein said polydiene has an average molecular weight of 1,000-100,000.
6. A liquid according to claim 1, wherein said polydiene has 1-50 acidic groups or basic groups per one molecule.
7. A liquid according to claim 1, wherein said electrophoretic dispersion liquid contains said polydiene in an amount which is 0.01 to 3 times a weight of said electrophoretic particles.
8. A liquid according to claim 1, wherein said polydiene is dissolved in said liquid in a temperature range of \u221220 to 0\xb0 C.
9. A liquid according to claim 1, wherein said liquid is a nonpolar solvent.
10. A display apparatus, comprising:
an electrophoretic dispersion liquid which comprises a plurality of electrophoretic particles each surface of which is modified by one of a basic group and an acidic group, a liquid for holding said electrophoretic particles to be dispersed therein, and a polydiene, having the other group, dissolved in said liquid;
a closed cell for holding said electrophoretic dispersion liquid, and
a first electrode and a second electrode for generating an electric field in said closed cell, said electric field being a voltage of a polarity which is alternately changed is applied between said first and second electrodes and moving said electrophoretic particles.

1. A reception apparatus comprising:
a demodulation unit configured to demodulate a modulated signal used to transmit transmission control information about data and the data to be transmitted;
a first decoding unit configured to decode the transmission control information obtained by demodulation performed with the demodulation unit;
a storage unit configured to store the data obtained by demodulation performed with the demodulation unit; and
a second decoding unit configured to decode the data stored in the storage unit on the basis of the transmission control information decoded by the first decoding unit.
2. The reception apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein the modulated signal includes a signal used for transmitting the transmission control information and a signal used for transmitting the data, which are arranged in an order of transmission, and
the storage unit stores the data obtained while the transmission control information is being decoded.
3. The reception apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein when the first decoding unit finishes decoding of the transmission control information, the second decoding unit starts decoding the data.
4. The reception apparatus according to claim 1,
wherein the modulated signal is an OFDM signal of DVB-C2,
the transmission control information is L1 information transmitted with a Preamble Symbol, and
the data are data transmitted with a Data Symbol.
5. A reception method comprising:
demodulating a modulated signal used to transmit transmission control information about data and the data to be transmitted;
decoding the transmission control information obtained by demodulation;
storing the data obtained by demodulation; and
decoding the stored data on the basis of the transmission control information decoded.
6. A program for causing a computer to execute:
demodulating a modulated signal used to transmit transmission control information about data and the data to be transmitted;
decoding the transmission control information obtained by demodulation;
storing the data obtained by demodulation; and
decoding the stored data on the basis of the transmission control information decoded.
7. A reception system comprising:
a reception unit configured to receive a modulated signal transmitted via a transmission path;
a demodulation unit configured to perform demodulation processing of the modulated signal received by the reception unit;
a signal processing unit configured to perform signal processing on data demodulated by the demodulation unit to obtain data to be transmitted; and
an output unit configured to output the data, which are to be transmitted, obtained by the signal processing unit,
wherein the demodulation unit includes:
a signal demodulation unit configured to demodulate the modulated signal used to transmit transmission control information about the data, which are to be transmitted, and the data to be transmitted;
a first decoding unit configured to decode the transmission control information obtained by demodulation performed with the signal demodulation unit;
a storage unit configured to store the data obtained by demodulation performed with the signal demodulation unit; and
a second decoding unit configured to decode the data stored in the storage unit on the basis of the transmission control information decoded by the first decoding unit.
