What is claimed is:
1. A method of water recycling, said method comprising the steps of:
collecting water from at least one residential water source;
channeling water from at least one of said residential water source through pipes via gravity to a storage tank;
filtering water received in said storage tank to remove contaminants;
treating water received in said storage tank with a sanitizing agent; and
delivering water from said storage tank to soil and subsoil of surrounding landscape to maintain moisture content.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein said collecting step providing said residential water source includes a shower, bathroom tub, bathroom sink and washing machine.
3. The method according to claim 1, wherein said collecting step providing said residential water source includes a body of water.
4. The method according to claim 3, wherein said collecting step providing said body of water includes one from the group of a lake, canal and river.
5. The method according to claim 1, wherein said channeling step includes a plurality of storage tanks.
6. The method according to claim 5, wherein said channeling step providing said plurality of storage tanks are individually accessible to provide specialized use.
7. The method according to claim 1, wherein said filtering step further comprises filtering said water as said water enters said storage tank and as said water exits said storage tank to further remove any impurities.
8. The method according to claim 1, further comprising the step of providing said storage tank positioned at a lower height relative to said pipes extending toward said storage tank.
9. The method according to claim 1, further comprising the step of providing said storage tank positioned underground.
10. The method according to claim 1, further comprising the step of providing said storage tank having an opening providing accessibility to said storage tank for cleaning and maintaining said storage tank.
11. The method according to claim 1, further comprising the step of providing said storage tank having a back flow structure adapted to said pipes exiting said storage tank to maintain priming of said pump.
12. The method according to claim 1, further comprising the step of providing said sanitizing agent including a chemically active substance to displace any accumulated bacteria.
13. The method according to claim 1, wherein said delivering step providing said storage tank is adapted to a water delivery device which dispenses water from said storage tank to surrounding soil, subsoil of landscape and aquifer.
14. The method according to claim 1, wherein said delivering step providing said storage tank includes a pump to regulate deliver of water from said storage tank to said water delivery device.
15. The method according to claim 1, wherein said delivering step providing said water delivery device includes a time clock to regulate the operation of said water deliver device and delivery of said water.
16. The method according to claim 1, wherein said delivering step providing said storage tank includes a float switch device operating to disengage said pump at predetermined water levels to regulate water flow.
17. A water recycling system for recycling residential water comprising:
at least one residential water source:
a storage tank to collect recycled water from at least one residential water source;
a plurality of pipes, said pipes adapted to channel water from at least one residential water source via gravity;
a filter affixed to said storage tank to remove impurities and provide a sanitizing agent to said water received in said storage tank; and
a water delivery device to deliver water received in said storage tank to soil and subsoil of surrounding landscape to maintain moisture content of landscape.
18. The system according to claim 17, wherein said residential water source includes a shower, bathroom tub, bathroom sink and washing machine.
19. The system according to claim 17, wherein said residential water source includes a body of water.
20. The system according to claim 19, wherein said body of water includes one from the group of a lake, well, canal and river.
21. The system according to claim 17, wherein said water recycling system includes a plurality of storage tanks.
22. The system according to claim 17, wherein said plurality of storage tanks are individually accessible to provide specialized use.
23. The system according to claim 17, wherein said filter is engaged as water enters said storage tank and as said water exits said storage tank to further remove any contaminants.
24. The system according to claim 17, wherein said storage tank is located underground to facilitate the gravitational flux of recycled water from said pipes into said storage tank
25. The system according to claim 17, wherein said storage tank includes an opening to provide access to said storage tank for cleaning and maintaining of said storage tank.
26. The system according to claim 17, wherein said storage tank includes a back flow structure adapted to said pipes exiting said storage tank maintaining priming of said pump.
27. The system according to claim 17, wherein said water delivery device includes a sprinkler.
28. The system according to claim 27, where in said sprinkler is integrated with said storage tank, said sprinkler dispensing recycled water from said storage tank to surrounding soil, subsoil of landscape and aquifer.
29. The system according to claim 28, wherein said storage tank includes a pump integrated with said storage tank and said sprinkler.
30. The system according to claim 17, wherein said water delivery system includes a time clock integrated with said sprinkler.
31. The system according to claim 30, wherein said time clock regulate the operation if said sprinkler and deliver of water.
32. The system according to claim 17, wherein said storage tank can include a float switch device adapted to said storage tank and said pipes.

1. A disk drive comprising:
a storage medium;
a write cache including a copy of data written to the storage medium; and
a controller configured for testing data write operations to the storage medium, wherein the controller tests data write operations to the storage medium before flushing the write cache.
2. The disk drive of claim 1, wherein the disk drive includes means for protecting the write cache if the test of data write operations fails.
3. The disk drive of claim 1, wherein the disk drive includes means for error recovery if the test of data write operations fails.
4. The disk drive of claim 1, wherein the means for testing is a self-test procedure of the disk drive.
5. The disk drive of claim 1, wherein the means for testing carries out a test of data write operations since the last test was carried out.
6. The disk drive of claim 1, wherein the write cache is a write-through data cache.
7. The disk drive of claim 1, wherein the means for testing at least one head of the disk drive by a random write and read back.
8. The disk drive of claim 7, wherein only a head that has been used for writing data currently held in the write cache is tested.
9. A method for protecting data write operations in a disk drive, comprising:
saving write data to a write cache and to a storage medium;
testing data write operations to the storage medium; and
flushing the write cache after a test of data write operations completes successfully.
10. The method of claim 9 further comprising checking if the write cache is substantially full, if so, carrying out the test of data write operations.
11. The method of claim 9 further comprising protecting the write cache if the test of data write operations fails.
12. The method of claim 9 further comprising performing an error recovery procedure by recovering the write data from the write cache.
13. The method of claim 9, wherein the testing data write operations further comprises testing at least one head of the disk drive using a random write and read back.
14. The method of claim 9, wherein the testing further comprises testing only a head that has been used for writing data currently held in the write cache.
15. The method of claim 9, wherein the testing further comprises testing only a head that has been used for writing data since the last test was performed.
16. A program storage device, comprising:
program instructions executable by a processing device to perform operations for protecting data write operations against write failures in a storage device, the operations comprising
saving write data to a write cache and to a storage medium;
testing data write operations to the storage medium; and
flushing the write cache after a test of data write operations completes successfully.
17. A controller for processing data read and writes to a storage medium via read and write caches, comprising a readwrite self-test procedure for testing data write operations to the storage medium, wherein the self-test procedure tests data write operations to the storage medium before flushing the write cache.
18. The disk drive of claim 17, wherein the controller is configured to protect the write cache when the test of data write operations fails.
19. The disk drive of claim 17, wherein the controller is configured to perform error recovery when the test of data write operations fails.
20. The disk drive of claim 17, wherein the self-test procedure tests at least one head of the disk drive by a random write and read back.
