1. A method for facilitating networking in a social network, the method comprising:
identifying, by a computer system, a group of features in an image for a person in the social network;
identifying, by the computer system, a characteristic for networking from the group of features;
identifying, by the computer system, a set of people in the social network having the characteristic; and
performing, by the computer system, an action enabling networking in the social network with respect to the person and the set of people in the social network having the characteristic.
2. The method of claim 1 further comprising:
identifying, by the computer system, a number of characteristics for networking from the group of features in addition to the characteristic; and wherein the number of characteristics and the characteristic are a plurality of characteristics and the identifying, by the computer system, the set of people in the social network having the characteristic comprises:
identifying, by the computer system, the set of people in the social network having the plurality of characteristics.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein identifying, by the computer system, the characteristic for networking from the group of features comprises:
identifying a hypothesis for the characteristic using the group of features; and
verifying the hypothesis using a source to identify the characteristic.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein performing, by the computer system, the action that enables networking in the social network with respect to the person and the set of people in the social network having the characteristic comprises:
sending a suggestion to the set of people to establish a connection with the person in the social network.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein performing, by the computer system, the action that enables networking in the social network with respect to the person and the set of people in the social network having the characteristic comprises:
selecting a team based on the person and the set of people.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein performing, by the computer system, the action that enables networking in the social network with respect to the person and the set of people in the social network having the characteristic comprises:
sending a message to the set of people indicating that the person is in the social network and has the characteristic in common with the set of people.
7. The method of claim 1, wherein the group of features is selected from at least one of one of a person, a face of a person, a car, a stadium, a building, an animal, a piece of equipment, a piece of apparel, a piece of furniture, an aircraft, tree, a mountain, a spacecraft, a planet, an object, a symbol, or a logo.
8. The method of claim 1, wherein the image is selected from one of a profile picture or a background picture.
9. A computer system comprising:
a network facilitator that identifies a group of features in an image for a person in a social network; identifies a characteristic for networking from the group of features; identifies a set of people in the social network having the characteristic; and performs an action enabling networking in the social network with respect to the person and the set of people in the social network having the characteristic.
10. The computer system of claim 9, wherein the network facilitator identifies a number of characteristics for networking from the group of features in addition to the characteristic, wherein the number of characteristics and the characteristic are a plurality of characteristics wherein in identifying the set of people in the social network having the characteristic, the network facilitator identifies the set of people in the social network having the plurality of characteristics.
11. The computer system of claim 9, wherein in identifying the characteristic for networking from the group of features, the network facilitator identifies a hypothesis for the characteristic using the group of features; and verifies the hypothesis using a source to identify the characteristic.
12. The computer system of claim 9, wherein in performing the action that enables networking in the social network with respect to the person and the set of people in the social network having the characteristic, the network facilitator sends a suggestion to the set of people to establish a connection with the person in the social network.
13. The computer system of claim 9, wherein in performing the action that enables networking in the social network with respect to the person and the set of people in the social network having the characteristic, the network facilitator selects a team based on the person and the set of people.
14. The computer system of claim 9, wherein in performing the action that enables networking in the social network with respect to the person and the set of people in the social network having the characteristic, the network facilitator sends a message to the set of people indicating that the person is in the social network and has the characteristic in common with the set of people.
15. The computer system of claim 9, wherein the group of features is selected from at least one of one of a person, a face of a person, a car, a stadium, a building, an animal, a piece of equipment, a piece of apparel, a piece of furniture, an aircraft, a tree, a mountain, a spacecraft, a planet, an object, a symbol, or a logo.
16. The computer system of claim 9, wherein the image is selected from one of a profile picture or a background picture.
17. A computer program product for facilitating networking, the computer program product comprising:
a computer readable storage media;
first program code, stored on the computer readable storage media, for identifying a group of features in an image for a person in a social network;
second program code, stored on the computer readable storage media, for identifying a characteristic for networking from the group of features;
third program code, stored on the computer readable storage media, for identifying a set of people in the social network having the characteristic; and
fourth program code, stored on the computer readable storage media, for performing an action enabling networking in the social network with respect to the person and the set of people in the social network having the characteristic.
18. The computer program product of claim 17 further comprising:
fifth program code, stored on the computer readable storage media, for identifying a number of characteristics for networking from the group of features in addition to the characteristic, wherein the number of characteristics and the characteristic are a plurality of characteristics; and wherein the third program code comprises:
program code, stored on the computer readable storage media, for identifying the set of people in the social network having the plurality of characteristics.
19. The computer program product of claim 17, wherein the second program code comprises:
program code, stored on the computer readable storage media, for identifying a hypothesis for the characteristic using the group of features; and
program code, stored on the computer readable storage media, for verifying the hypothesis using a source to identify the characteristic.
20. The computer program product of claim 17, wherein the fourth program code comprises:
program code, stored on the computer readable storage media, for sending a suggestion to the set of people to establish a connection with the person in the social network.
21. The computer program product of claim 17, wherein the fourth program code comprises:
program code, stored on the computer readable storage media, for selecting a team based on the person and the set of people.
22. The computer program product of claim 17, wherein the fourth program code comprises:
program code, stored on the computer readable storage media, for sending a message to the set of people indicating that the person is in the social network and has the characteristic in common with the set of people.

1. A method for manufacturing an optical unit having an optical element and a support member for supporting the optical element, the method comprising:
heating and deforming a portion of at least one of opposing surfaces of the optical element and the support member to extend the deformed portion toward the other of the opposing surfaces so that the optical element moves relative to the support member; and
securing the optical element and the support member together.
2. The manufacturing method of claim 1, wherein the heating and deforming step is performed by irradiating a laser to at least one of the opposing surfaces of the optical element and the support member.
3. The manufacturing method of claim 2, wherein the laser is irradiated through the optical element to the support member for deforming the support member.
4. The manufacturing method of claim 2, wherein the laser is irradiated through the support member to the optical element for deforming the optical element.
5. The manufacturing method of claim 2, further comprising:
providing a table with relationships between laser power, laser irradiation time, and an amount of deformation; and
adjusting the laser according to the table and an amount of tilting of the optical element relative to the support member.
6. The manufacturing method of claim 2, further comprising:
disposing an ultraviolet cure resin between the optical element and the support member; and
after deforming at least one of the optical element and the support member, irradiating ultraviolet light to the ultraviolet cure resin.
7. The manufacturing method of claim 2, wherein the optical element is made of amorphous polyolefin and the support member is made of liquid crystal polymer.
8. A method for manufacturing an optical unit having an optical element and a support member for supporting the optical element, the method comprising:
deforming at least one of opposing surfaces of the optical element and the support member; and
securing the optical element and the support member together,
wherein a laser is irradiated to at least one of the opposing surfaces of the optical element and the support member,
wherein one of the optical element and the support member is made of material capable of transmitting 80% or more of light having the same wavelength as the laser emitted from a laser source, and the other of the optical element and the support member is made of material capable of absorbing 80% or more of light having the same wavelength as the laser emitted from the laser source.
9. The manufacturing method of claim 8, wherein the wavelength of the laser emitted from the laser source has the wavelength of 810 nm.
10. The manufacturing method of claim 8, further comprising:
measuring a tilting of the optical element relative to the support member,
determining an amount of target deformation of at least one of the opposing surfaces of the optical element and the support member according to a measurement result and then deforming at least one of the opposing surfaces; and
measuring again the tilting of the optical element relative to the support member; and
deforming again at least one of the opposing surfaces if the measurement result is less than the target value.
11. An optical unit comprising:
a support member; and
an optical member supported by the support member;
the support member having a first portion for supporting the optical member;
the optical member having a second portion opposing the first portion of the support member; and
one of the first and second portions having a projection that is projected into contact with the other of the first and second portions,
wherein a position of the optical element relative to the support member is adjusted by heating and deforming the projection.
12. The optical unit of claim 11, further comprising an ultraviolet cure resin in a gap defined between the first and second portions and around the projection, the ultraviolet cure resin being cured to secure the first and second portions.
13. The optical unit of claim 12, wherein the optical member is a lens made of material capable of transmitting 80% or more of light having a wavelength of 801 nm and the support member is a lens holder made of material capable of absorbing 80% or more of light having a wavelength of 810 nm.
