1-20. (canceled)
21. A computer implemented method for providing electronic distribution of secure calendar data, the method comprising:
receiving, at a first computing device, a request to transmit calendar data to a second computing device;
filtering a calendar associated with a user of the first computing device based on control data associated, in part, with a user at the second computing device; and
transmitting the filtered calendar data to the second computing device in two formats, wherein a first format is a more robust format than a second format.
22. The computer implemented method of claim 21, wherein the first format is iCalendar.
23. The computer implemented method of claim 21, wherein the second format is HTML.
24. The computer implemented method of claim 21, wherein the filtered calendar data is transmitted as an email attachment.
25. The computer implemented of claim 21, further comprising:
transmitting a second filtered calendar data to the second computing device in two formats, wherein the second filtered calendar data is an update to the first filtered calendar data.
26. The computer implemented method of claim 5, wherein the update to the first filtered calendar data replaces a first payload of the first filtered calendar data with a second payload of the second filtered calendar data.
27. The computer implemented method of claim 22, wherein the iCalendar enables opening the filtered calendar data in full calendar form.
28. One or more computer storage media having computer-executable components that upon execution perform a method for providing electronic distribution of secure calendar data, the method comprising:
receiving, at a first computing device, a request to transmit calendar data to a second computing device;
filtering a calendar associated with a user of the first computing device based on control data associated, in part, with a user at the second computing device; and
transmitting the filtered calendar data to the second computing device in two formats, wherein a first format is a more robust format than a second format.
29. The one or more computer storage media of claim 28, wherein the first format is iCalendar.
30. The one or more computer storage media of claim 28, wherein the second format is HTML.
31. The one or more computer storage media of claim 28, wherein the filtered calendar data is transmitted as an email attachment.
32. The one or more computer storage media of claim 28, further comprising:
transmitting a second filtered calendar data to the second computing device in two formats, wherein the second filtered calendar data is an update to the first filtered calendar data.
33. The one or more computer storage media of claim 32, wherein the update to the first filtered calendar data replaces a first payload of the first filtered calendar data with a second payload of the second filtered calendar data.
34. The one or more computer storage media of claim 29, wherein the iCalendar enables opening the filtered calendar data in full calendar form.
35. A computer system, comprising:
a processor; and
a memory communicatively coupled to the processor, the memory having computer-executable instructions that when executed by the processor, provide a method for providing electronic distribution of secure calendar data, the method comprising:
receiving, at a first computing device, a request to transmit calendar data to a second computing device;
filtering a calendar associated with a user of the first computing device based on control data associated, in part, with a user at the second computing device; and
transmitting the filtered calendar data to the second computing device in two formats, wherein a first format is a more robust format than a second format.
36. The computer system of claim 35, wherein the first format is iCalendar.
37. The computer system of claim 35, wherein the second format is HTML.
38. The computer system of claim 35, wherein the filtered calendar data is transmitted as an email attachment.
39. The computer system of claim 35, further comprising:
transmitting a second filtered calendar data to the second computing device in two formats, wherein the second filtered calendar data is an update to the first filtered calendar data.
40. The computer system of claim 35, wherein the update to the first filtered calendar data replaces a first payload of the first filtered calendar data with a second payload of the second filtered calendar data.

The claims below are in addition to those above.
All refrences to claim(s) which appear below refer to the numbering after this setence.

1. A system for controlled recording of an information signal, composed of an information signal output device to provide as an information signal a time-series signal recorded in a recording medium, and an information signal recording apparatus to record the information signal from the information signal output device, for a standard playing time of the time-series signal,
the information signal output device providing from the recording medium the information signal and identification information on the information signal; and
the information signal recording apparatus comprising:
means for receiving the information signal and identification information from the information signal output device;
means for measuring a predetermined elapsed time from start of recording the information signal;
a memory for storing the identification information from the receiving means; and
a controlling means for disabling the information signal recording apparatus from recording the received information signal, after the information signal has been recorded and for the predetermined elapsed time measured by the time measuring means, if the same identification information as already stored in the memory is received.
2. An information signal recording apparatus adapted to receive an information signal as a time-series signal whose information content varies with time and an identification information on the information signal, and record the information signal for a time equal to a standard playing time of the information signal, the apparatus comprising:
means for detecting the identification information on the information signal;
a memory to hold therein, when recording the information signal, the identification information supplied from the identification information detecting means;
means for measuring, from start of recording the information signal, a sum of a recording time and a predetermined period; and
a recording function controlling means for controlling to disable the recording means from recording an information signal whose identification information is the same as already stored in the memory, after completion of the recording and for the sum of time measured by the time measuring means.
