receiving a user communication indicating that the user wishes to access a data area of the plurality of the limited data areas;
representing the data area identified by the user as the first or the single data area for the operating system; and
diverting an enquiry of the operating system for the first or the single data area to the data area identified by the user so that the data area identified by the user is accessed, although the operating system is deceived in that the operating system assumes that the operating system accesses the first or the single data area.
27. Method in accordance with claim 26, in which, in the step of representing, a start address of the first or the single data area, which is only selectable by the operating system, is transferred into a start address of the data area identified by the user.
28. Apparatus for accessing a re-writable Digital Versatile Disk, wherein the Digital Versatile Disk has a plurality of limited data areas after a Lead-In Area, wherein the method is performable with at least one data processing unit having at least one operating system, wherein the operating system of the data processing unit is operative to be capable to access only a limited first or single data area of the plurality of data areas, which is present after the Lead-In Area, and to not access any other data area apart from the limited fixed first or single data area of the Plurality of data areas, comprising:

The claims below are in addition to those above.
All refrences to claim(s) which appear below refer to the numbering after this setence.

What is claimed is:

1. A method for operating a code division multiple access (CDMA) channel in a base transceiver station (BTS), the method comprising the steps of: setting a CDMA channel identification (ID) list database (DB), which is a common information between said BTSs, and a CDMA channel index list DB by BTS; and
searching, in each BTS, a CDMA channel ID of a CDMA channel index in a CDMA frequency index list DB of said BTS, and searching a CDMA channel number to said searched CDMA channel ID in said CDMA channel ID list DB to variably generate different CDMA channel list message independently.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein said CDMA channel ID list DB includes a CDMA channel ID for uniquely identifying a CDMA channel and a CDMA channel number for representing a real frequency band, as the common information between said BTSs.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein said CDMA channel index list DB includes a CDMA channel index which is a CDMA channel identifier, a CDMA channel ID for uniquely identifying said CDMA channel and a CDMA channel kind for representing usage thereof, as the independent information by BTS.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein said CDMA channel kind is divided into two kinds: one being a common_service, which is used as a frequency for common users; and the other being a test_service, which is used as a test frequency for a system inspection.
5. A method for operating a CDMA channel between a base transceiver station (BTS) and a mobile station (MS) in a CDMA system, the comprising the steps of:
(a) setting a CDMA channel index by frequency allocation (FA) within a pertinent BTS and initializing a comparative CDMA channel index; and
(b) searching, in each FA, said comparative CDMA channel index having the same CDMA channel kind as its own CDMA channel index by referring to a CDMA channel index list DB, and allocating a CDMA channel number corresponding to said comparative CDMA channel index to generate a CDMA channel list message by said FA, independently.
6. The method of claim 5, wherein said step (b) comprises the steps of:
(i) comparing said comparative CDMA channel index with the maximum of a CDMA channel index of said BTS and transmitting said CDMA channel list message if said comparative CDMA channel index is greater than the maximum of said CDMA channel index of said BTS, or comparing said CDMA channel kind of said comparative CDMA channel index with that of said CDMA channel index of said pertinent FA by referring to said CDMA channel index list DB if said comparative CDMA channel index is not greater than said CDMA channel index of said BTS;
(ii) increasing one in value of said comparative CDMA channel index and returning to said step (i) if said CDMA channel kinds of said comparative CDMA channel index and CDMA channel index of said pertinent FA are not identical to each other; and
(iii) searching a CDMA channel ID list DB by means of a CDMA channel ID of said comparative CDMA channel index, allocating a CDMA channel number of said CDMA channel ID to a CDMA frequency number of said CDMA channel list message of said pertinent FA, increasing one in value of said comparative CDMA channel index and returning to said step (i) if said CDMA channel kinds of said comparative CDMA channel index and CDMA channel index of said pertinent FA are identical to each other.
7. The method of the claim 5, wherein said CDMA channel index list DB includes a CDMA channel index, which is a CDMA channel identifier, a CDMA channel ID for uniquely identifying said CDMA channel and a CDMA channel kind for representing usage thereof, as the independent information by BTS.
8. The method of claim 7, wherein said CDMA channel kind is divided into two kinds: one being a common_service, which is used as a frequency for common users; and the other being a test_service, which is used as a test frequency for a system inspection.
