1. A device comprising:
a resilient member having a first end for blocking an access hole and a second end for attachment to a support surface, wherein the resilient member also has opposite first and second surfaces that each extend between the first and second ends;
a first opening extending through the resilient member between the first and second surfaces and located between the first and second ends; and
a bolt connection location positioned at the second end of the resilient member, wherein the first end of the resilient member blocks the access hole and can be deflected to provide access to the bolt connection location through the first opening.
2. The device of claim 1 and further comprising:
a plurality of fasteners located at the second end of the resilient member and adjacent to the bolt connection location for attaching the resilient member to the support surface.
3. The device of claim 1 and further comprising:
a pair of scallops located along opposed lateral edges of the resilient member, wherein shape of the scallops determines the resiliency of the device.
4. The device of claim 1, the resilient member further comprising:
a bolt access seal portion located between the first end of the resilient member and the first opening.
5. The device of claim 1, wherein the resilient member comprises a metallic material.
6. An assembly comprising:
a bolt; and
a device comprising:
an elongated first member formed such that it corresponds with an interior surface of a gas turbine nosecone;
a second member extending from the first member;
a first opening extending through both the first and second member; and
at least one fastener opening located in the second member,
wherein the first member seals an access hole on the nosecone and can be resiliently deflected to provide access through the first opening to a fastener that secures the nosecone to the gas turbine.
7. The assembly of claim 6, wherein four fastener openings are located in the second member.
8. The assembly of claim 6 and further comprising:
a pair of arcuate scallops located along opposed lateral edges of the first member, wherein the shape of the scallop determines the resiliency of the device.
9. The assembly of claim 6, the first member further comprising:
a bolt access seal portion located between a distal end of the first member and the first opening.
10. The assembly of claim 6, wherein the baffle comprises a material selected form the group consisting of a metallic material and a composite material.
11. The assembly of claim 10, wherein the device comprises stainless steel.
12. An assembly comprising:
a bolt;
a nosecone comprising:
a body defining an interior surface;
a mounting flange extending from the body for securing the nosecone to a supporting structure with the bolt; and
an opening in the body, wherein the opening is circumferentially aligned with the flange; and

a device positioned at the opening in the body of the nosecone, the device comprising:
an elongated first member formed such that it corresponds with the interior surface of a gas turbine nosecone;
a second member extending from the first member;
a first opening extending through both the first and second member; and
at least one fastener opening located in the second member,
wherein the first member seals the opening in the body of the nosecone and can be resiliently deflected to provide access through the first opening to the bolt that secures the nosecone to the gas turbine.
13. The assembly of claim 12, wherein the at least one fastener comprises a rivet located adjacent to the bolt.
14. The assembly of claim 12, wherein four fasteners secure the second member of the device to the flange of the nosecone.
15. The assembly of claim 12, the device further comprising:
a pair of scallops located along opposed lateral edges of the first member, wherein the shape of the scallop determines the resiliency of the device.
16. The assembly of claim 12, the elongate portion of the device further comprising:
a bolt access seal portion located between a distal end of the first member and the first opening.
17. The assembly of claim 12, wherein the device comprises a metallic material.
18. The assembly of claim 12, wherein at least the body of the nosecone comprises a composite material.
19. A device comprising:
a resilient member having a first end for blocking an access hole and a second end for attachment to a support surface;
a first opening extending through the resilient member and located between the first and second ends;
a pair of scallops located along opposed lateral edges of the resilient member, wherein shape of the scallops determines the resiliency of the device; and
a bolt connection location positioned at the second end of the resilient member, wherein the first end of the resilient member blocks the access hole and can be deflected to provide access to the bolt connection location through the first opening.
20. The device of claim 19, wherein the first opening traverses a bent region of the resilient member.

1. A hub-bearing assembly allowing pressurized air to be supplied to the tyre of a vehicle wheel, the assembly comprising a hub-bearing unit having:
a rotatable hub fixable to the wheel of the vehicle,
a stationary bearing race fixable to the vehicle for rotatably supporting the hub about an axis,
an air cavity formed in the hub with at least one substantially radial passage for letting pressurized air into the cavity and an outlet for conveying pressurized air from this cavity to the tyre;
cam means integral with the stationary race and cooperating with at least one piston means accommodated in said at least one radial passage, wherein rotation of the hub brings about reciprocating motion of the piston means along the passage and lets pressurized air into the cavity.
2. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 1, further comprising a one-way valve, fitted in the radial passage downstream of the piston means, for preventing air within the cavity from flowing back outwardly through the passage.
3. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 1, wherein the radial passage communicates with an air inlet channel extending between the passage and an outer surface of the hub.
4. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 3, wherein the air inlet channel opens on the passage at a port alternately opened and closed by the piston means.
5. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 3, wherein said outer surface of the hub is a surface located at an axially inner side of the hub.
6. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 1, wherein said piston means is associated with an elastic means urging the piston means towards the cam means.
7. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 1, wherein said piston means is provided with a low friction means for engaging the cam means.
8. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 7, wherein said low friction means comprises a rolling element mounted on the piston means for rolling on the cam means.
9. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 1, wherein said outlet for conveying pressurized air from the cavity to the tyre is a bore formed through an outer cap hermetically sealing the cavity on the axially outer side of the assembly.
10. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 1, wherein said outlet for conveying pressurized air from the cavity to the tyre is associated with pressure limiting means, comprising a one-way pressure tuning valve.
11. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 10, wherein the pressure limiting means are associated with pressure adjusting means.
12. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 1, wherein said cavity is hermetically closed or closable on the axially inner side of the assembly.
13. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 1, wherein said cam means comprise a piston driving surface having at least one first surface zone radially farther from the axis and at least one second surface zone, angularly spaced from the first zone around the axis and radially nearer to this axis.
14. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 13, wherein the piston driving surface is a surface forming one or more undulations or lobes protruding in radial directions.
15. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 13, wherein the piston driving surface is a surface having an oval profile in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation.
16. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 13, wherein the piston driving surface is a surface having a circular and eccentric profile with respect to the axis of rotation.
17. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 1, wherein said cam means are formed as a single piece with the stationary race.
18. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 17, wherein said cam means comprise a groove formed in an axial cylindrical cavity of the stationary race.
19. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 1, wherein said cam means are formed by an annular element fixed to the stationary race.
20. The hub-bearing assembly of claim 1, wherein the hub-bearing unit comprises a dual set of rolling elements and wherein the cam means and the piston means are arranged in a radial plane axially intermediate the two sets of rolling elements.

1. A tool to manipulate items within a truck bed comprises:
an armature comprising a length to reach from a tailgate end of the truck bed to a cab end of the truck bed, and
a manipulating head coupled to a distal end of the armature, wherein the head comprises;
an elongated, substantially planar front surface facing towards a proximate end of the armature, and wherein the front surface comprises a leading top edge and leading bottom edge,
a receptacle at a center portion and proximate to the leading top edge for receiving and affixing the armature to the head,
a hooking mechanism above the receptacle configured to selectively hook a truck bed item,
integrated reinforcement rib members within a rear cavity of the head, wherein the rear cavity is formed by a head perimeter extending rearward around edges of the front surface and the hooking mechanism;
the leading top edge comprises a planar extension substantially normal to the front surface and extends towards the proximate end of the armature, wherein the front surface and planar extension are configured to conform to a straight edge of the truck bed item for easy manipulation and facilitate a distributed force along the edge of the item.
2. The tool of claim 1, wherein the planar front surface comprises a texture to minimize slipping of the planar front surface from the item.
3. The tool of claim 1, wherein the armature is releasable from the head.
4. The tool of claim 3, wherein the hooking mechanism is releasable from the head.
5. The tool of claim 1, wherein the head comprises a single molded piece.
6. A truck bed manipulation tool comprising:
a first planar plate and a second planar plate suitably coupled together to comprise an elongated, substantially L-shaped configuration;
a receptacle integrated proximate to a center portion of the second planar plate and extending in a normal configuration from and along a front edge of the second planar plate towards a rear edge of the second planar plate, the receptacle configured to receive an end of an extension tool;
a hooking element extending from the rear edge of the second planar plate, substantially parallel to the first planar plate and normal to the second planar plate; and
reinforcement rib members integrated on a backside of the first planar plate and a backside of the second planar plate.
7. The tool of claim 6, wherein the first planar plate is tapered along a lower leading edge opposite an upper leading edge, wherein the upper leading edge comprises an intersection where the second planar plate joins the first planar plate.
8. The tool of claim 7, wherein the receptacle is threaded.
9. The tool of claim 8, wherein the receptacle is integrated partially within the second planar plate.
10. The tool of claim 9, wherein at least one of the first planar plate and the second planar plate are textured.
11. The tool of claim 10 further comprising the extension tool comprising at least one end configured to be received by the receptacle.
12. A method for manufacturing a truck bed manipulation tool comprising:
molding a first planar plate and a second planar plate together to comprise an elongated, substantially L-shaped configuration;
molding a receptacle proximate to a center portion of the second planar plate and extending in a normal configuration from and along a front edge of the second planar plate towards a rear edge of the second planar plate, the receptacle configured to receive an end of an extension tool;
molding a hooking element to extend from the rear edge of the second planar plate, substantially parallel to the first planar plate and normal to the second planar plate; and
molding reinforcement rib members integrated on a backside of the first planar plate and a backside of the second planar plate.
13. The method of claim 12, wherein molding the first planar plate comprises molding the first planar plate to be tapered along a lower leading edge opposite an upper leading edge, wherein the upper leading edge comprises an intersection where the second planar plate joins the first planar plate.
14. The method of claim 13, wherein molding the receptacle comprises molding the receptacle to be threaded.
15. The method of claim 14, wherein molding the receptacle further comprises molding the receptacle to be integrated partially within the second planar plate.
16. The method of claim 15, wherein forming the at least one of the first planar plate and the second planar plate comprises forming at least one of the first planar plate and the second planar plate to be textured.
17. The method of claim 16, further comprising affixing the extension tool to the receptacle.

a correction lens operable to move along an optical axis to perform zoom tracking;
a correction lens driver operable to drive the correction lens;
a zoom lens;
a zoom ring operable to be turned by a user;
a zoom lens driver operable to mechanically move the zoom lens according to an amount of turn of the zoom ring;
a position detector operable to detect a position of the zoom lens;
a rate detector operable to detect a change rate of the position of the zoom lens;
a storage unit operable to store relational information which associates the position of the zoom lens with a focus position of the correction lens; and
a controller operable to control the correction lens driver, wherein
the controller determines a focus position of the correction lens corresponding to a position more distant by a predetermined amount from the position of the zoom lens detected by the position detector, by referring to the relational information, and controls the correction lens driver to drive the correction lens with a target position set to the determined focus position, and
the controller changes the predetermined amount according to the change rate of the position of the zoom lens detected by the rate detector.
2. The lens barrel according to claim 1, wherein the controller varies an equation used to calculate the predetermined amount with the change rate of the position of the zoom lens.
3. The lens barrel according to claim 2, wherein the controller further varies the equation with the position of the zoom lens.
4. The lens barrel according to claim 1, wherein the correction lens is a focus lens.
5. The lens barrel according to claim 1, wherein the correction lens is a lens different from a focus lens.
6. An imaging apparatus comprising an interchangeable lens and a camera body to which the interchangeable lens is mountable, wherein
the interchangeable lens includes:
a correction lens operable to move along an optical axis to perform zoom tracking;
a correction lens driver operable to drive the correction lens;
a zoom lens;
a zoom ring operable to be turned bay a user;
a zoom lens driver operable to mechanically move the zoom lens according to an amount of turn of the zoom ring;
a position detector operable to detect a position of the zoom lens;
a rate detector operable to detect a change rate of the position of the zoom lens;
a storage unit operable to store relational information which associates the position of the zoom lens with a focus position of the correction lens; and
a controller operable to control the correction lens driver,
the controller determines a focus position of the correction lens corresponding to a position more distant by a predetermined amount from the position of the zoom lens detected by the position detector, by referring to the relational information, and controls the correction lens driver to drive the correction lens with a target position set to the determined focus position, and the controller changes the predetermined amount according to the change rate of the position of the zoom lens detected by the rate detector,
the camera body includes:
an imaging unit operable to generate image data of a subject image captured through the interchangeable lens; and
a recording unit operable to perform a predetermined process on the image data and store the image subjected to the predetermined process in a recording medium.
7. The imaging apparatus according to claim 6, wherein the controller varies an equation used to calculate the predetermined amount with the change rate of the position of the zoom lens.
8. The imaging apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the controller further varies the equation with the position of the zoom lens.
9. The imaging apparatus according to claim 6, wherein the correction lens is a focus lens.
10. The lens barrel according to claim 6, wherein the correction lens is a lens different from a focus lens.
11. An imaging apparatus comprising:
a correction lens operable to move along an optical axis for zoom tracking;
a correction lens driver operable to drive the correction lens;
a controller operable to control the correction lens driver;
a zoom lens;
a zoom ring operable to be turned by a user;
a zoom lens driver operable to mechanically move the zoom lens according to an amount of turn of the zoom ring;
a position detector operable to detect a position of the zoom lens;
a rate detector operable to detect a change rate of the position of the zoom lens;
a storage unit operable to store relational information which associates the position of the zoom lens with a focus position of the correction lens;
an imaging unit operable to generate image data of a subject image captured through the interchangeable lens; and
a recording unit operable to perform a predetermined process on the image data and store the image subjected to the predetermined process in a recording medium,
wherein the controller determines a focus position of the correction lens corresponding to a position more distant by a predetermined amount from the position of the zoom lens detected by the position detector, by referring to the relational information, and controls the correction lens driver to drive the correction lens with a target position set to the determined focus position, and
the controller changes the predetermined amount according to the change rate of the position of the zoom lens detected by the rate detector.
12. The imaging apparatus according to claim 11, wherein the controller varies an equation used to calculate the predetermined amount with the change rate of the position of the zoom lens.
