14. A device for slicing food products in block form with a blade, comprising:
a rocking loading arm;
wherein the rocking loading arm is configured such that a food product block may be reversibly raised with the rocking loading arm from a first position to a second position;
wherein the rocking loading arm is curved at least when in a slicing position; and
wherein the rocking loading arm is oriented substantially horizontally when in a loading position.
15. The device of claim 14, wherein the first position is the loading position and the second position is the slicing position.
16. The device of claim 14, wherein the rocking loading arm is inclined substantially relative to horizontal in the slicing position.
17. The device of claim 14, wherein the rocking loading arm comprises at least one joint.
18. The device of claim 14, wherein the rocking loading arm comprises at least one guide roll.
19. The device of claim 14, wherein the rocking loading arm comprises at least one flexible conveyor belt.
20. The device of claim 14, wherein the rocking loading arm comprises a limit stop at one end for the food product block.
21. The device of claim 14, wherein the rocking loading arm is configured such that a plurality of food blocks may be sliced in parallel.
22. The device of claim 21, further comprising a plurality of product tracks arranged in parallel, wherein each of the plurality of product tracks is configured to guide one of the plurality of food blocks.
23. The device of claim 22, further comprising lateral guide elements arranged between the product tracks.
24. A method of slicing at least one food product block, comprising:
transferring a food product block from a loading position to a slicing position prior to slicing using a rocking loading arm;
wherein the shape of the rocking loading arm is modified on transfer from the loading position to the slicing position; and
wherein the food product block is bent on transfer of the rocking loading arm.
25. The method of claim 24, wherein the rocking arm is curved perpendicularly to a conveying direction of the food product block.

1. A data scanning circuit comprising:
a memory circuit configured to pre-store a plurality of codes that together form a rule, which, when satisfied, allows the data scanning circuit to prevent further processing of undesirable data, each code corresponding to a sub-rule and comprising plural bits, the memory circuit further configured to receive input data comprising at least a first data item and a second data item, and output a first of the plurality of codes and a second of the plurality of codes according to the first data item and the second data item, respectively, wherein the memory circuit is a static random access memory (SRAM);
an operational circuit coupled to the memory circuit, the operational circuit configured to perform logic operations on a clock-shifted version of the first code and the second code to produce an operated result, the operated result based on the clock-shifted version of the first code and the second code, the logic operations including an AND logical operation; and
a decision circuit coupled to the operational circuit, the decision circuit configured to analyze the operated result to determine whether the input data satisfies the rule.
2. The data scanning circuit of claim 1, wherein the first data and the second data are inputted to the address port of the memory circuit.
3. The data scanning circuit of claim 1, wherein the bits of each code are distributed in different addresses of the memory circuit.
4. The data scanning circuit of claim 1, wherein the first code has N bits, and N-1 bits of the first code correspond to the same logic value.
5. The data scanning circuit of claim 1, wherein the plurality of codes are programmable.
6. The data scanning circuit of claim 1, wherein the operational circuit includes:
a plurality of flip-flops; and
a plurality of logic units, respectively coupled between the plurality of flip-flops.
7. The data scanning circuit of claim 6, wherein the plurality of logic units is AND gates.
8. The data scanning circuit of claim 1, and further comprising:
a counter, used for finding out the location of the data item satisfying the rule in the input data.
9. The data scanning circuit of claim 1, wherein the first data and the second data are one byte.
10. The data scanning circuit of claim 1, wherein the sub-rule represents a character.
11. The data scanning circuit of claim 1, wherein the data scanning circuit is disposed in a media access controller.
12. A data scanning method comprising the steps of:
pre-storing a first code and a second code in a memory circuit, the first code corresponding to a first sub-rule of a rule and the second code corresponding to a second sub-rule of the rule, the first and second codes each comprising plural bits, wherein the memory circuit is a static random access memory (SRAM);
receiving input data comprising at least a first data item and a second data item;
outputting the first code according to the first data item;
outputting the second code according to the second data item;
performing logic operations that include an AND logic operation on a clock-shifted version of the first code and the second code to produce an operated result, the operated result based on the clock-shifted version of the first code and the second code; and
determining, from the operated result, whether the input data satisfies the rule, wherein satisfying the rule identifies the input data as undesirable data.
13. The data scanning method of claim 12, wherein the first data and the second data are inputted to the address port of the memory circuit.
14. The data scanning method of claim 12, wherein the bits of each code are distributed in different addresses of the memory circuit.
15. The data scanning method of claim 12, wherein the first code has N bits, and N-1 bits of the first code correspond to the same logic value.
16. The data scanning method of claim 12, wherein the plurality of codes is programmable.
17. The data scanning method of claim 12, wherein the step of performing logic operations further comprises shifting the first code according to a clock signal, and performing the logic operations with the second code to produce the operated result.
18. The data scanning method of claim 17, and further comprising counting the clock signal to find out the location of a data item satisfying the rule in the input data.
19. The data scanning method of claim 12, wherein the method is applied to a web switch or a load balancer.

1. A process for producing a polycarbonate, comprising:
reacting an aqueous alkali solution of a dihydric phenol with phosgene in the presence of an organic solvent to obtain a polycarbonate oligomer; and
polycondensing the polycarbonate oligomer;
wherein:
reacting the dihydric phenol with phosgene yields an emulsion solution of a polycarbonate oligomer-containing organic solvent;
the emulsion solution is subjected to separation in a coalescer to separate the emulsion solution into a polycarbonate oligomer-containing organic solvent phase and an aqueous phase; and
polycondensing the polycarbonate oligomer comprises polycondensing polycarbonate oligomer in the polycarbonate oligomer-containing organic solvent phase.
2. The process of claim 1, wherein:
the polycarbonate oligomer-containing organic solvent phase obtained by separation of the emulsion solution in the coalescer is subjected to separation in a tank for still standing separation; and
polycondensing the polycarbonate oligomer comprises polycondensing polycarbonate oligomer in a polycarbonate oligomer-containing organic solvent phase obtained by separation in the tank for still standing separation.
3. The process for producing a polycarbonate as defined in claim 1, wherein the coalescer comprises mounted elements that enhance coalescence of the polycarbonate oligomer-containing organic solvent phase.
4. The process of claim 3, wherein the elements comprise at least one member selected from the group consisting of glass fibers, carbon fibers, metal fibers, synthetic resin fibers, organic fibers and porous materials.
5. The process of claim 3, wherein the elements comprise at least one member selected from the group consisting of flat-shaped elements, cylindrical-shaped elements and pleat-shaped elements.
6. The process of claim 3, wherein the coalescer operates at a pressure difference of from 0.001 to 1.0 MPa.
7. The process of claim 1, wherein the coalescer operates to accelerate uniting of liquid particles of the disperse phase of the emulsion solution.
8. The process of claim 1, wherein separation of the polycarbonate oligomer-containing organic solvent phase and the aqueous phase of the emulsion solution takes place in a housing of the coalescer.
9. The process of claim 8, wherein an interface between the polycarbonate oligomer-containing organic solvent phase and the aqueous phase of the emulsion solution is not present in the housing of the coalescer during separation.

1. An apparatus for storing a device for a railway vehicle comprising:
a storage case having an opening at a front side;
a tray accommodated into the storage case, the tray being movable forward and backward with the device mounted thereon;
a lever disposed at the tray to extend along a forward and backward direction, the lever being vertically pivotable around a pivot located forward relative to a center of the tray in the forward and backward direction;
an operation member coupled to a front end portion of the lever and disposed at a front side of the tray;
an engagement portion provided at a rear end portion of the lever and protruding downward outside the tray; and
a recess provided in the storage case, the engagement portion being fitted into the recess from above.
2. The apparatus for storing the device for the railway vehicle according to claim 1, wherein the recess is positioned such that the engagement portion is fitted into the recess from above at least in a state where the tray is in a storage position where the tray is accommodated into the storage case.
3. The apparatus for storing the device for the railway vehicle according to claim 1, wherein the recess is positioned such that the engagement portion is fitted into the recess from above at least in a state where the tray is in an intermediate position in a moving range of the tray.
4. The apparatus for storing the device for the railway vehicle according to claim 1, wherein the recess is positioned such that the engagement portion is fitted into the recess from above at least in a state where the tray is in a pull-out position where the tray is pulled out through the opening and an entire of a device region of the tray is outside the storage case.
5. The apparatus for storing the device for the railway vehicle according to claim 1,
wherein the storage case includes an elongate member extending in the forward and backward direction at an upper side of a bottom wall of the storage case and at a lower side of the tray and having an upper end extending in a substantially straight-line shape in the forward and backward direction; and
the recess extends in a downward direction from the upper end of the elongate member.
6. The apparatus for storing the device for the railway vehicle according to claim 5,
wherein the storage case includes a rear wall, a front wall having the opening; and
a rear end of the elongate member is fixed to the rear wall and a front end of the elongate member is fixed to the front wall.
7. The apparatus for storing the device for the railway vehicle according to claim 1, further comprising:
a stopper provided at the tray to inhibit the lever from moving in an upward direction in a state where a rear end portion of the lever is pivoted in the upward direction and the engagement portion disengages from the recess.
8. The apparatus for storing the device for the railway vehicle according to claim 7, wherein
the tray includes a rear plate having an insertion hole into which the rear end portion of the lever is inserted; and
the stopper is fixed to the rear plate around the insertion hole.
9. The apparatus for storing the device for the railway vehicle according to claim 1, wherein
the device is a battery; and
the lever includes a plurality of levers to sandwich at least one battery region between them, and front end portions of the plurality of levers are coupled to one operation member.
10. The apparatus for storing the device for the railway vehicle according to claim 1, wherein
the device is a battery;
the tray has battery regions in which batteries of plural rows are mounted;
the battery regions are defined in such a manner that plural battery groups each including the batteries of two rows or less are arranged with a visual space between them; and
the lever is disposed in the visual space.
